But people who play both would be less likely to grind aa. And people who would have started with TO and who would want to change to combined would have either no aa or no experience in it. And the CAs problem would increase in combined because the CAs player would stay.

Most SPAAs are good AT and they are more effective at eliminating enemy light tanks than MBT could do, if anything only the SAM one becomes useless, how many SAMs SPAA are there? so that’s a few, not most.

For people wanting to play combined after playing TO, it would be in their interest to get ready for combined gameplay.
There is no air problem if everyone is using the air.

Their issue as they have TO to just play tanks.
If someone would want to enjoy tank vs tank fights, he could switch to TO.
Just play spaa if you want to kill cas

Point is, most will go to TO and spam their SPAAs more there to kill tanks. Which in combined we will lose potential SPAA players to deal with CAS cuz they in TO doing TD things instead. Splitting the playerbase isn’t ideal.

Yes but because basically no one plays spaa only he will get bombed more when he drives a tank.
But players who use SPAA as TD would do that no matter in what mode they are.

Lately I been seeing more players using SPAA better which I kind of find surprising. Normally seen a lot focused on using them as TD more often like a month ago.
Very few will be there. Will lose a good amount.
For example if I want to play Strela I can‘t do that in TO and it’s also boring to play combined only with Strela and I would probably play a tank first.
That is Your choice.
You shouldn’t need to make other players suffer.

Probably the best solution would be locking every SPAA line in the techtree from being used.

It was a generał statment that players should be able to have TO if they want to.
If You need pure tank players in order for combined mode to work, then it is broken from the core
