Being unseen is a valid tactic, and that applies in this situation as well.
As much as I hate to agree with you here, you are correct.
‘Swarm’ yea, mount those problems to add to the weight of your argument… It just shows that no matter what is said to you, that you’ll make more and more goalposts to move because it’s clear you merely can’t handle the opposition, which is much of the problem in these threads…
Battle gamemode:
Literally battle gamemode:
Nah, to a point it is, but thing is if the cap is done and you’ve scouted, you’ve done your part…
It’s not kill centric no matter how many people say it is, it’s just not the only way to win.
Pretty much it is.
That engagement is fun only for one side.
So in order to not get killed in an unfair manner you just need to spawn SPAAs and ignore pretty much most other vehicles.
And then at certain BRs you’ll have CAS that you simply cannot shoot down. He’s controlling the engagement.
No, I am talking about an actual 7.7-8.7 uptier battle.
Although even without an uptier of significant nature you’ll be facing against highly effective strike aircraft loaded with rocket pods and multiple bombs and cannons with incredibly high speed.
Those rockets don’t even need to hit. Their splash kills the bosvark.
This is an assumption you make to validate your stance, it’s not actually factual.
It’s not ‘unfair’, and you have counters so your initial statements are clearly incorrect and assumptive.
You can respawn and the more time they are tied up with you, the more time others have to do what they need to do.
Cool story but that’s what I am mentioning about… I’m sorry you don’t understand that tactics and methods still work even when you think they don’t.
You’re in a open air truck facing against mouse-aim flying, casual 800 km/h aircraft armed with 16 rockets whose mere splash will kill you.
Better title to the thread is ‘Why do TO advocates demand that you change your stance when you comment on their thread’
Again, you can be unseen. You don’t need to be so obvious. And even then, you can respawn… It’s all part of the game.
In fairness the Bosvark is only ~5.3, so I think a solution here would be to just give britain more SPAA to actually fill the gap. Bringing the falcon down to 7.7 might be an option, at least if the APDS SP cost is tweaked heavily.
Also at least you arent facing tiny tims at 3.7 AB lmao
If you are in something quite literally meant to kill CAS, this shouldnt be as much of a requirement. Hell, you quite literally have to see the aircraft to shoot them down, soo…
You can see them without them seeing you… And you don’t need to open fire desperately to make it clear on where you are.
Sitting in the corner while the AV-8 eats your team is very useful.
You are literally arguing
it’s OK that you are forced to use a 5.3 vehicle against 6.7-8.7 aircraft if you want to play 7.7 britain.
Once they are within range, you should be in range to shoot them. Fairly basic balance. In fairness it is a 5.3 vehicle, though.
This is just a lack of proper SPAA issue imo, not a CAS-centric issue.
Sorry, it’s actually fun if you enjoy to run and hide in your not very mobile open-topped vehicle.
Me getting killed by something I had no ways to counter in my current vehicle is definitely unfair.
Wonder why BRs exist if you can simply just respawn.
It is a CAS issue as your options are:
- Spawn SPAA (see above)
- Spawn CAP (you get zero ground research progress, you’re given less reward than both ARB and amazingly, even air sim in terms of RP) (it also requires grinding out an air tree that aligns with your ground tree. While I like british aircraft, I rather focus in American and Japanese air for better lobby choice flexibility as they’re normally enemies in sim)
I’ve put forth my point many times, and you’re the one trying to argue and move goalposts all the time…
You’re playing a PvP centric game, and you just don’t like dying to what you deem to be ‘unfair’ where it’s absolutely fair, as there are counters for what you deem to be uncounterable.
Even if they are in range, it doesn’t mean you have a good shot on them and that you should open fire…
Exactly, and the actual solution to that, which I’ve mentioned elsewhere, is to add more, and include other variants.
It’s alright that you think that to have fun you have to kill and be out the front, but that’s not all that the game is about.
Again, you’ve got counters, it’s your choice not to use them or be good at using them.
BR has nothing to do with you being able to respawn.
Other solutions that must be implemented include:
On what I mean by scaling SP cost:
I should NOT be able to spawn an APHE yak 9 by capturing a point in a KV-1 Zis5 and hitting the tracks/not penetrating a vk3002 and promptly dying.
Yet I can.
For the first one its fairly easily fixed by giving britain proper SPAA at that BR and implementing the SPAA suggestions I have said above. Second one is also solved by implementing the tick box and naval-esque plane spawning. Implementing that would also let attack drones be removed, which I think is good.
‘must’ is just your want…
