Why do CAS players so vocally oppose any suggestions

You’re not earning all the SP needed from that, you’re partially using the spawnpoints you got from starting a match.

Eh, ive always been against stuff like this since it heavily penalizes stuff that simply cannot do AA work. I’d rather just fix the SPAA SP issue (via variable SPAA costs based on ammo taken) then do something like this.

Why don’t we talk about the people who J out to avoid getting killed by bombs?

Why should we?

Because unlike people who use CAS the people who J out to avoid getting killed are actually a problem since its unsportsmanlike.

Cas player upset because he doesn’t get one of his 4 free kills?

How often doas it happen that you consider it a big problem

Monty python fruit attacks are more fair than the current cas balance so I don’t know what you mean by unsportsmanlike it seams to imply a fair sport
Not to mention the cas balance After the dev Server goas Live

  1. I only had a single bomb at the time

  2. It shouldnt matter how often unsportsmanlike conduct happens for it to be a problem

  3. Being sportsmanlike has nothing to do with game balance and everything to do with player behavior

It takes a septic tank player to know that exploit and use it in such a manner to deny them their ‘free kills’ when you were sitting ducks anyway and were dead to rights.

It is always funny as most air users in GRB will fly over their airfield when faced with enemy air user.

But it is fair that someone who just cap a point using reserve tank is able to bomb You without You being able to do anything about it.

I dunno, it was pretty babyish behaviour for a literal WW2 relic to kamikaze into my Chieftain with a bomb the size of a rather well fed toddler. I might have gotten my first nuke the way that game was going, and it’s only fair to give up and let the dominant guy win. _(^,^)_/

it’s not a sport it’s a competitive war game and it can be an expensive one for some.

One thing I hope we can agree on is that the YAK-9 45 AP belt needs removing, it’s grotesquely unfun

That’s just being pedantic. Sportsmanship is part of all competition.

the difference is the SPAA have a way higher ROF and not to mention they cost less then half of what a light tank does, some of the most OP tanks in the game for their BRs are the ZA35 and the finish leo2 Marksmen

honestly just make it so you dont spawn with any SP and the first 2 lives dont cost SP for tanks, would also help to stop 1 death leavers as well

Nothing would change

So what do you do you do if you see an enemy tank side on in the game and fear he may not have seen you? Ride up to it on a little pony carrying a white flag and announce your intention to fire on the fellow if he does not cease hostilities immediately?

Never heard such BS, you score points and get rewarded by killing the enemy it’s a game and the fact that it is slowly turning into a sport rather than any kind of history related game is the issue. How about we have have two teams red and blue and forget all other aspects? play the game on a football pitch.

I said that as a joke a few years ago and slowly it’s happening.

Yes, yes, we all stand in a line like the Victorian era and we don’t even move if we are gonna be shot, because it’s not “gentlemanly”

You’ve completely lost the plot. Taking advantage of the enemy’s lack of awareness to get kills is fine. That’s part of the game and well within the bounds of sportsmanship. Its akin to scoring an empty net goal because the goalie moved out of position.

What I am talking about is someone who, upon realizing a bomb has been dropped and will kill them, J’s out to deny the dropper of the bomb the kill. That is not sportsmanlike at all, its a petty exploit of the games mechanics. It’s as if you’re losing a tennis match and instead of accepting the loss you break your own racket and scream “YOU DIDNT WIN” at the opponent.

Nah it’s more like playing a tennis match and someone kicks a football at Mach 2 (CAS) onto your face because it’s “unfair” that you got points and they didn’t get any
