Why do CAS players so vocally oppose any suggestions

You want to be more specific since you didn’t find anything to shittalk ?

I found everything I predicted really.

Which was im not doing so bad in tanks after all and still enjoy cas.

Can I get a response to this and why it would not be viable?

tldr:

  1. Put airfields farther away so that it takes 3-5 minutes for a full cycle of drop bomb, RTB, rearm, return over the current ~90 seconds.
  2. Increase spawn cost of using air-to-ground weaponry, and do so with respect for the BR (in other words: spawn cost of payload size and unguided weapons goes down the higher you go as they lose effectiveness).
  3. Give each nation viable SPAA for each 1.0 BR bracket.

Am I trying to turn WT into WoT?

If You want to think so, then ok ;)

If you want to shittalk someone for stats maybe check first next time. It’s ok bro.

I’m not shittalking anyone.

I’m just pointing out that players who want the current state of things to remain the same to have similarities and You are another example of it.

I know that playing without unbalanced mechanics would be hard for some, but really getting better at ground vs ground combat is not that hard

KD with one plane means nothing, maybe it was really op, or you played with it when the HVAR was so op.

Maybe you are good, but you can be sure you represent a minority. Because all the guys I see here asking to remove CAS are either bad or don’t play with planes or helicopters

Hi, I play planes a lot, ideally in sim if the brackets and lobbies allow. I want them to actually be balanced in GRB in terms of:

You mean before rocket nerf?

I have played it recently. You can find even traces of it in this topic.

Because they are bad at the game and need ground players who can’t defend themselves to bully

Man, you’ve played this game for like 30 hours and you’re trying to change the game for your benefit

How the hell have I played the game for “30 hours” when

I have 40 hours just in sim.

100 hours in ARB

150 in GRB.

I have ~150 hours flying planes and playing tanks equally.

Where have you even got the assumption of “30 hours”?

Play the game, don’t play the game,

Whatever you decide stop whining about it.

It is not your call.

8 days is the same thing. you are lvl 37

So why would it bother you so much if Gaijin made a TO GRB mode tomorrow?

You can still do what you always do in the old GRB

I really think to remove CAS it is a drastic change.

  • It will kill almost all SPAAs (It will be so boring to play, more than it is currently)
  • Big queues to play, and it is a problem already in some BRs
  • It will kill a lot of strike fighters and bombers in the game, they will be useless.

I think its better people learn how to play like a team, and use the vehicles to kill planes or helis; than to remove and nerf CAS.

For me, to remove CAS is a noob-like gameplay, and everytime gaijin listens this kind of guys, they kill the game.

Really man, I had like 113 days with a fighter in realistic mode, and ± 70 days with tanks, destroyers, etc

This is a realistic battle topic

This made me laugh going back to the second answer given. Then we have the last lot of CAS fanatics acting like assholes as we can all see from the last few post made by them attacking those ask for a TO version of GRB.

We then have the "Oh it will fragment the player base " but Gaijin drop things like this as and when they fee like it. No worries about fracturing player bases or introducing new game variants

So as the OP says, what are the TO haters actually afraid of ?
