This guy managed to get enough SP to spawn a Lahatut with ATGMs as his 5th vehicle after getting single air kill and 3 assists. Good thing that I’ve “spawned SPAA bro” and got rid of him as we has foolishly only 2km away.

But what’s the outcome here though, is it too easy for them to plan thier order of spawning vehicles to make sure they can spawn enough on little SP, compared to just spawning the highest SP vehicle they can to make them short on SP so they’re more prone to being unable to keep spawning for the entire match, compared to the 5 minutes they do.
I think I’ve spawned 8 times at one point, and whilst people moan about how bad it is, there is a skill to it.
Wt actually rewards players for dying lol player with 4 deaths one cap one kill assist has higher mission points than someone who has two kills with zero death.
In fairness this is rather like player-directed arty - exceptionally powerful, but used so rarely its a non-issue.

Tell me how CAS requires skill. Low tier cas can easily get kills even without knowing how to aim bombs by dive bombing. Top tier cas is even easier. I’ve seen people get 5+ kills with only a few AGMs. Sure CAS is still needed in GRB such as getting campers, providing recon, and providing air defense, but the status quo is horrible, with early game cas destroying the game
“CAS takes no skill” is still one of the funniest copes I have ever seen. Just the sheer hypocrisy in saying it, when SPAA is just objectively easier and even more braindead to play at nearly every BR. SPAA is especially braindead and skilless at 8.0-10.0, where the ONE THING you need to be good at to play SPAA (determining lead and drop, aka a skill that everyone who flies aircraft even semi-occasionally has) is automated in the form of SAMs and radar lead.
ATLEAST cas players still need to know how to accurately drop bombs, strafe, and lead to shoot down other aircraft, aswell as performing maneuvers, and memorizing the flight characteristics of every aircraft.
You can say whatever you want about CAS having an advantage over heavy tanks, but something you can’t deny that is SPAA is many times more skilless and braindead than CAS will ever be.
Sure SPAA in top tier might be skill-less. But, how will the AVERAGE player in low tier aim properly in a duster or a Ostwind. Without radar, most players are incapable of aiming properly, along with how leading is extremely difficult when going against pilots who spam maneuvers. Furthermore, you dont need skill to strafe (its just LMB), and the threat of dedicated air defense fighters in GRB barely exists. Along with this, non radar SPAAs have to correctly guess the speed and angle of the aircraft approaching and adjust accordingly, which is difficult for most GRB players. Calling SPAA “OP” might just be because of the air rb mains who play GRB and know how to lead, but the majority of players have no idea how to use SPAA. SPAAs usually have a large skill gap compared to normal tanks due to leading, estimating distances, and timing shots. Plus, most SPAAs are basically trapped in spawn as a lot of spaas are incapable of defending themselves to a better position, leading to easy CAS kills of spawn bombing and spawn strafing, which I have to remind you, basic cannons and 50cal is deadly to most SPAAs.
