Also, I just checked and the past seven matches in a row in which I died, my first death was from CAS.
I was refering to total kills in the match from all players. Sorry for the confusion.
I like cas. Both playing it and shooting it down using aa.
Lol. Matches to what i imagined.
I find the higher rank spaa to be relaxing to play.
Depends what your “goal” is. If it is to win (the game’s goal since you get more for winning as a modifier than losing) then trying to work together is going to be more successful than not (aka like the real world).
They should add a “win multiplier” to your score for the events. The pure score only events are simple but they discourage teamwork and staying in a match.
I reckon they removed a lot of the “win” parts of Events due to how sloppy Events are and how often people get stuck on the steam rolled side. Much like how they gave in a reduced Win multipliers and raised Loss multipliers (works for me as I have 46% overall win rate as my teams over time seemed to not even want to try, and that led to me just bailing A LOT of my matches; I tried to keep positive but I did not gain from it). It should in theory point to teams working together for the best rewards (but not all play for that)
But yes, since Events are almost always running, to show appreciation for the win it could be added to Events. However Gaijin “balance” progress of everything so any increase reward would be levelled out elsewhere, in my view of them.
How am I being dishonest and/or shifty? And spawning an SPAA as a deterrent, fine and dandy, but it doesn’t deter the low earth orbit folks one bit because they know I can’t do anything to them anyway; and they don’t have to get closer to be more precise. Neither do the ground hugging near supersonic rocket bois; I’m guessing their biggest worry is hitting a shoddy hitbox on a tree or lamp post, not the SPAA sitting there.
If you’re looking at the sky you’re not spending money on ammo tho ;)
Funny, because that was in response to the post I replied to where a similar stupid jab was employed, but I don’t see you complaining about that. (For reference the “which most of them are newbs or 2/3yo max gamewise” part).
In my case you’d be partially right (I can’t fly planes… not my reason for hating CAS though).
How is this any different than the majority of pro-CAS players pulling out the “just spawn an SPAA” or “just spawn a plane” tropes? Riddle me that…
Pot, kettle.
You could also get an advanced degree in exaggeration and go ahead with the optional “how to absolutely conflate the hell out of two things” course. Oh, wait…
Not against those low earth orbit fellows.
Okay, maybe you will enlighten me as to how one defends against an aircraft that sits in a position where SPAA search radar, tracking radar, and IRST don’t want to lock on to it, and you cannot elevate your barrel or missile launcher high enough to get a shot off. Curious to know, really.
That’s a skewed value because in ground RB, everyone will be spawning tanks but not everyone will be spawning planes. You’d have to normalize that somehow.
Not exactly because many people are talking like cas is just dominating games. If this were the case, they should be getting at least 33% of the kills.
If they want to argue that cas is “over performing” than yeah, I agree it needs to be averaged out with how many spawn. However, the current argument appears to be that cas is getting the most kills in matches.
And if you weren’t there, others could come through without a care.
Hell, you could do other tasks while in this role, such as putting out artillery, repairing and assisting other vehicles in thier tasks such as capping or just even being ‘active’.
You’re so fixated, and stuck on the ‘Kill’ mentality, that you literally can’t see the forest for the trees.
CAS dominate games by allowing low-skilled players to easily destroy high-skill player and snowball matches out of control due to them having more spawn points.
And those stats seem BS to me. But in any case, most people just rush in quickly and die so they aren’t affected by CAS much. But the people who get a good position and get a few kills will be hounded constantly.
I havent play a lot of low tier in a bit but at around 9.7-10.3, those stats fit with my experience. I get a good number of matches with little to no cas. A couple with get cas spam though. Most seem to get 1-2 kills before dying.
It is funny how random cas targeting is too. Sometimes i will get swarmed by cas and other time i can sit in an open field in an open top with no issues.
I would love for gaijin to actually improve grb mechanics before any new game mode is considered. There are a few things that could help a lot. At least they are finally adding the different brs for grb/arb.
Dogs can’t look up.
Lol, who is flagging these? Go watch “Spaced” by Simon Pegg.
I hate fking planes i cannot outplay them remove them1!1!
Be pilot is skill issue
Easy. Spawn a fighter, they are cheap. Or are you trying to tell me that a player, who is sooo bad that he needs to rely on an 850+ SP vehicle to get kills did better than you and you can’t even spawn a 500 SP vehicle?
People don’t want to win. People want to increase their K/D ratio and score points to unlock new vehicles.
And no, the win bonus is irrelevant, since it is just a multiplier of your score and an AAA that scored (near) 0 points will still get 0.
He is in a SPAA that so say is a counter, first he has to earn SP, then he has to die and do all this before said plane returns to his airfield under his aaa bubble. So how does he do it
He didn’t say that. He asked about an aircraft outside of an SPAA’s range, not about an aircraft out of his SPAA’s range.
He still needs to earn SP and die in the same time frame. And what if he is in a SPAA
