For any debate and discussion, we need all the viewpoints. By somebody raising a genuine point we can maybe overcome them or arrive at a decision. Nothing really to stop Gaijin coming in to any of the conversations we have on here much more than they do .
Maybe to them it’s all just a small and useful place for info for the player base which is fine. Im sure we overstate the forums importance generally.
I read not to long ago the only ideas gaijin will listen to is suggestions on new vehicles and modifications and there balance
It does seem to be the only area they can move the game forward. The rest is old and stagnant.
Besides being f2p or p2w. Its forever evolving. Many developers produce a sequel. But i do believe gaijin are greedy. Some e business have to expand or go bust
It’d be cool and all for that to happen, but you just told me in another thread to take my meds, so I think you need to accept that the discussion goes both ways, and if I can’t vocalize my support for the CAS in itself without being attacked, berated and flexed upon for the mere fact of saying that I don’t think any quarter should be given to the proponents of this ‘demand’ then we’re really going nowhere.
This, is really why I dislike this ‘want’, because it’s ALWAYS that unless you are supporting ‘them’ they all turnon you, and make out you’re skill-less and have to use it to get kills, or that you’re just a real asshole player because HOW DARE YOU BOMB ME!@!!@#!@!
There genuinely is counters, there are reasons to spawn SPAA no matter how boring you find it or ‘worthless’ you see it, and the entire mantra about how someone can merely trake you out ‘so easy’ is overused to the point that it’s actually ignorant.
If no-one spawns SPAA the air are free to do as they please, and whilst you propose not bothering to do anything about that, then that becomes the issue because it becomes your choice to let it have superiority.
Removal and exclusion to let people avoid things isn’t the solution, suggesting of actual addition, and modification is.
The fact I have had my ‘argument’ made for me SO MANY TIMES in the last 6 months by a certain group of individuals that propose for people to just ‘ignore’ and be all dismissive and drag other crap into other threads from this is just mind boggling…
The fact I am acted upon for merely trying to voice my non-support of these trainer wheel solutions is just hypocritical to demand that I listen to your stance on a forum where it’s the main goal.

I’ve seen enough, last time when I was early one of the anti-TO guys said it would be a waste of resources since no one would play it because the “majority came here to play combined battle bro”, he also added that the implementation would eventually put extra workload on gaijin’s staff as the time and energy could be better spent elsewhere. Then I found him in another thread where OP was talking about submarines, and then he said he liked the idea and wanted to see the implementation of submarines.

At least I can shoot back in a tank (or there’s something I could have done) most of the time. You can’t avoid CAS at all unless you just don’t bother spawning in once you know something like an AMX is up.

I oppose TO for realistic battles but not arcade battles.
And my KDR for tanks hovers between 1.3 - 4 depending on tank type and BR.
Where CAS is most OP my KDR on ground vehicles is closer to 1.8.
But yeah, I’d actually play arcade battles if it was without the randomized air spawns.
I’ve asked these particular questions many times and never got answers because 100% of the TO crowd have never once stopped to actually think about what kind of work such a mode would require to rebalance it. You would not be able to just copy+paste the mode, just remove aircraft and spaa and expect it to be flawless. To believe it would be is malicious ignorance above all else.
They are pointing to the mode that currently exists being copied and REMOVING the aircraft from the new mode.
So in the “new mode” you have removed something , in relation to the current one.
It depends on how pedantic you wish to be, but then with that understood you can easily follow their opinion.
Sorry but there is a big difference when one talks about overall removal and adding a new gamemode with some feature disabled.
How about they just copy the tank bit, and calling it “leaving something out”, not removing 😆

So the solution to some of the problems is not to alter things, or to make use of current systems others feel happy with, is to remove airplanes from a copy-paste version (edit as I missed the sentence here). of GFRB. Other “solutions” are frowned upon often, and no, not every player wanting TO is asking because they want just tank on tank, some will be that though they like combined they think aspects need change and until then want a place to not feel harrassed by what they see as wrong/badly implemented. These can fall under a similar banner.
Rather than ban hammer a comment (I understand your point) maybe ask for clarification? A bit like people not realising the Wyvern carries 1000lb bombs, and not 1000kg bombs, and rather than realising a little bit of misunderstanding had taken place there becomes conflict (yes, I understand him being wrong/a bit harsh back then, but you did not help the situation either).

I know, people often, like myself, use the wrong words or are not clear enough and so get misrepresented or misunderstood.
This could usually be sorted out if we let it though.
I’d play both, or whatever.
I came to play a game and what it had, not come looking for a game I might have liked (say a tank on tank game, as some have pointed to) but settled on one without such a premise. This does not stop those who need or want such options asking for, but that is down to Devs and not really any player type.
Or simply ask how something is meant. This gives the other person the chance to formulate things differently.
None of this is a problem.
Unfortunately, some people only read and understand things the way they want to.
