Like WHY? Like this needs to be studdied, 1 in 10 games i get TK for absolutely INSANE is there some kinda of internal conflict in the player base Air Vs Ground players like i can’t find any LOGICAL answer or cause of this behavior that yeilding to so many casses, Un-provocted attacks on random people in macths like this is a serious problem in Helldivers 2 for ##ck sake i get less TK-ed like what is this?
Like i say my engine was knocked out last battle and i got a freandly on my back in 7.3 throwing a missile like What did i do? Or when i spawn a bomber on the runway and bamm TK-ed reason? He said “Big plane explode” Like are this even humans? like you can have more S#!T in detroit rather then Air RB
Not exactly related, but I got shot down by a friendly m163 today for no reason because they were “learning the lead” saying it was their first time with it, but upon inspection of their profile they had 30+ battles in it
Why Gaijin has not made tks cost nothing to the receiver and have no effect on their record is beyond me. TK is more punishing for the person being killed as it stands right now.
In high tier jets, people like taking risky shots with missiles on enemies where there are friendlies the missile can retrack on and give an “accidental” teamkill. (I say accidental because its their stupid fault for firing a missile with a friendly in the seeker cone). Thats if I assume thats what you a referencing.
At any BR where you have to shoot them with guns? I dont know. People are both stupid, and toxic.
TK should just be removed from the game like in Ground RB except for sim
Gaijin should implement teamkill compensation via golden eagles to see if these shitheads still do it during takeoff.
Just make it cost them GE, and see if they keep doing it, because if they don’t have eagles, then they can just have a suspended account…
Because really…
This would be farmed to all hell…
Not possible, because one person has to lose it in order for the victim to receive it
- shithead kill teammates during takeoff, for fun
- system logged teamkilling, perform deduction of eagles through shithead’s account
- victim received eagles as compensation
What if
Shithead doesn’t have eagles? their account gets locked from playing, until they pay up, since we cannot play when we have negative eagles.
You didn’t say anything about them being penalized, just that there was to be compensation.
No need for the language showing your disregard of the rules.
It doesn’t even need to be compensated, they just need to be removed from the game better.
That’s needlessly punishing to stuff that could be counted as a mistake.
Intentionaly TKs should be dealt with via temp bans, or permanent ones if it gets too common. Auto TK bans should also be stricter too.
If it’s happening anywhere near as much as it’s being made out it is, then it shouldn’t be hard to actually get a track record of these players, and trigger a warning and the aforementioned penalties started.
Absolutely, I’d review TKs and serious instances like this to make recommendations on who to sort out, which could be verified by anyone… It’s just silly though that it’s so casually done now that it is that much of an issue, that the staff seem to wring their hands about it due to the ‘system’ which we are supposed to trust, but obviously don’t.
No.
We should not acadify realistic just because of fools and imbeciles. ARB is already frustratingly arcadified compared to ~10 years ago.
Teamkilling prevents people from all sitting on 1 person’s six and spraying blindly.
Teamkilling somewhat regulates the idiotic furballs that develop.
Teamkilling provides means for players fighting against unfavourable odds to find angles and positions to threaten the enemy without them being able to retaliate without risking blue on blue.
What if the TKer has no GE? What if they have never bought GE and are purely F2P? The majority of the playerbase fall into that category by the way.
What if it was genuinely an accident? What if the fault is actually on the person who got TKd? I have definitely had people decide to fly through my rounds before.
Too many variables to make a GE punishment remotely fair.
