One thing to note is that if we follow the distribution of Fighter, Strike Fighter, Bomber, and Naval Aircraft, China did not have Naval Aircraft before JH7, and the number of attack fighters was pitifully low before J10. This will result in these two lines being very sparse while the other lines are very compact

That’s what I mean, I like to see it as a limited vehicle, but not the very first vehicle of this event.
This is the only vehicle for this event
My issue isn’t that it’s the first prize, it’s that it’s a prize for an event themed around China.

Yes, of course. The FTC-2000G is more of a light multipurpose fighter rather than a heavy strike aircraft like the JH-7A.
Another plane that I would quite like to see is the Chinese L-15.
The next event vehicle is going to be an aircraft so we can at least hope that one will be Chinese…

The J-20 is there to signify that China will also have its own domestic vehicle if we ever get to the modern era of aviation in-game. As something alongside the American F-35 and European Eurofighter.
The game has vehicles from 2021.

I agree that the event vehicle should have been Chinese as the holiday is Chinese, but we are a ways off from stealth aircraft, given that many of the planes that have been added recently are 1980s airframes with 1990s upgrades. Think of how much time elapsed between the adding of the first F-4 Phantom and the first F-16, now think of how much time would have to elapse between now and an F-35.

I’m also interested in this “JH-7A2”? I know of the rest, but the A2 variant of the JH-7 is new to me.

I’m not saying that I want it added now. As I said - the point of the J-20 being there, and really my entire list, is that China is a nation that produces a large and comprehensive amount of DOMESTIC vehicles.
And that it can also keep up with any future additions to the game.
I created the list out of frustration because I’ve seen many people compare the Chinese tree to a “Russian copy-paste”, and I wanted people to know that the only reason why China appears “Russian” in-game is because it is QUITE LITERALLY missing ALMOST EVERYTHING it domestically produces.
Obviously - if the J-20 were to be added, it would be at a hypothetical point the developers decide to add modern stealth aviation. For everyone.

This event is far ahead of schedule, so likely rushed.
This was likely the reward for the normal 3 vehicle events, but the new system means they’re ahead of schedule.
Also none of your examples are aircraft or navy.
Can use more ground attack missiles, can also use PL-17.

All of my examples (ZTZ-99I MANPADS prot., 1226, JAGUAR) are ground because they’re meant to be examples of what the event vehicle for THIS EVENT - SHOULD have been.
I would also add the 1224, BK1871 and BK1990 to this.
All of these Chinese vehicles would have made PERFECT event vehicles for THIS event.
As for aircraft - there’s a few trainers such as the JL-9, L-15, export planes, etc.
I’m not much of a plane guy and I’m more interested in tanks, so my focus is mainly on the tank event.

Again, they were likely planning an aircraft rather than a tank for China.
Either way, that could be part of next major update’s vehicle roster as well rather than an event, because as I said this event is WAY ahead of schedule for normal 3 vehicle events.
I dont think it will be plane since we got chinese F-100F in last crafting event

No, that’d go in the Chinese tech tree as China’s in the game.
I doubt ships are coming quite yet without the tree itself being added.
