Why are T-34's and Serman's Fighting Early war PZ-38T's, Cruiser's, Chi-Ha's and such?

If he’s struggling against one of the earliest missiles in a game that’s uh…lost of words…

When im in a plane that can’t pull Proper G’s until it drops bellow around 370mph, yeah.

have you flown the Swifts? they are great Plane’s, But they have the problem of not being great at Dodging until you get WELL bellow 400mph, Which is a problem because they can do 700mph pretty easy.

and ESPECIALLY since they nerfed the whole Flap Airbrake thing that they had, Its quite hard to break missile lock anymore.

The 3.3 T-34 can easily be killed through the turret and the 3.3 Sherman hull side, upper hull and transmission can be penned too. The Sherman III/IV at 3.7 however is extremely strong and just better than the 3.7 American M4 in every way and frontally immune to a lot of tanks it faces (except for a tiny spot on the turret that is visually indistinguishable to the rest of the turret).

I gotta be real with you man most of your complaints about vehicle performance is skill issues.

you’re an experienced player facing like level 20s.

The main western customerbase plays germany at first, most players are from what was the USSR, they have to pander to them a little bit but they don’t by much. Tiger 2 can be slaughtered by most things at 6.7 just as it can to them. the KV tanks are gods in downtiers but trash in uptiers idk what to tell you

Swift what, F.1? which has 16 x RP-3 rockets, aka Offensive Countermeasures. Everything you have ridden just sounds like a bunch of skill issues. That you refuse to fix, so you rant on the forums in the most unhinged form. One Mods don’t take kindly to.

Ah yes, Let me just already cut down on my Mediocre maneuverability by strapping 600 pounds of rockets to the belly of my plane.

Dumbass.

Once again why are you turning in a craft not designed for turnfighting? Also you can insult me but your putting yourself in the spotlight.

You do realize missile have Proxy fuses right? Even if it locks onto a rocket i fire its just gonna fuse on my plane as it flies past me. They are RP-3s, NOT Mighty mouses or some shit that are nearly supersonic.

The Swifts only advantage is energy but that doesn’t work when the Lim5P is the same BR, just as fast and turns a lot better. Not to mention the CL-13B, Ariete and the other 9.3 that can outrun and outturn them.

they are ok planes. Its also a Supermarine design from 1954, its going to suck to an extent, that companies only success after 1935 was the spitfire and that was a fluke that couldn’t be replicated as RJ Mitchell died before ww2. its also not unusual for a first gen jet to only be able to really pull until they are at lower speeds, controls weren’t strongly assisted or fly by wire for decades. But you can still turn hard enough to lose the track from an AIM9-B. Turn your afterburner off on the F7 while turning and its near a guarantee.

yes. Adens at 8.3 are satanic and the laser guided AAM is a fun challenge to master, perfect for a head on or to troll a bomber

COUGH Type 545 COUGH

A plane that was more promising than the Spitfire its self, killed by Shit politics.

Read the rest of what HT has said. Not gonna claim anything however Offensive Countermeasures became a thing the moment missiles were introduced, they are old as heck for a tactic. Now for the Swift, i don’t expect it to be amazing however from what HT has said, he seems to be struggling to figure how to utilize it.

Though not sure why this discussion has gotten far off course which I’m partially to blame for.

I can agree to a single statement without agreeing to everything else someone has said.

Rockets as CM don’t work if the motor doesn’t burn hot enough and the Swift can’t get out of the way fast enough. The proximity will get you even if the 9B tracks the RP-3.

No it was killed by how the Swift really wasn’t up to snuff so the WD didn’t trust what the near bankrupt Supermarine promised, especially when the hunter flew before it, outperformed it and had a far better safety record from the get-go. And the lightning was firmly in place as a supersonic interceptor. 545 never took to the skies for tests so we don’t even know if the thing would even start its engine.

Swift was a worthless lump of scrap from its inception, Supermarine paid the price.

this is normal with HT dont worry about it

EXCUSE ME? The FR-5’s served in Royal Airforce Recon service for nearly 20 years, They were the fastest planes in the world for a time. The F.4 Variant was entirely considered for service, But they just didn’t wanna replace the Hunters since they had already invested so much into them.

The Swifts had teething problems, Like ALL fighters, even the Spitfires and such had them, It just took time to fix them. and by the Time the Swift was done it was quite the competent and capable aircraft.

As for the Type 545, it was leagues cheaper than the Lighting that was chosen instead of it, Was lighter, going to be better on fuel, had a better radar, and could carry a heavier Missile load at first until the Lightings received their fuselage mountings.

Never had that issue. So still seems like a skill issue. I dodged so many missiles by just firing unguided rockets. One or 3 as well as lowering the engine ever so slightly and turning a bit. Pissed off many with the tactic cause they end up wasting their missiles on me and resort to the gun->Either running out, getting killed, being killed or shooting me down.

we considered giving every soldier sterling silver soap bar boxes in 1945 ( I use one to store jewellery)
considering a thing for service means sod all.

Comparing spitfire to the swift is blasphemy, the spitfire actually worked. there were two major problems with spitfire, Two bladed propellers and a non-pressurised carburettor, a tri bladed prop was fitted to the mk1a before ww2 even broke out fixing the thrust issue and a pressurised carb was on all spits from 1943.

The swift had safety, reliability and overall everything issues with only two notable acts:
Holding the air speed record for two days
Being used as damage markers in a nuclear test in australia
