Not really. The front plate is pretty meh. From my experience, I’ve found that it’s pretty much just the gun. Against a Sherman or T-34, it’s pretty lackluster.
And believe me, I have a LOT of experience in all 3. 7000 hours isn’t a walk in the park lol.

People get past rank 1 super fast and takes them a little longer through rank 2 and 3, this is how game progression works from reserve tier, there’s no BR favouritism because veteran players will camp those BRs out the hell and back.

Lowest sherman in the game, Drivers hatch is vulnerable from 500M, from point blank you can one shot from the hull machine gunners periscope.
I will agree that the T34 is quite under BR and shermans at low tier are scary but they can be defeated front on.

dude the AVRE kicks the hell out of 6.7 germany and France with its HESH mortar and can ignore most shells. the fox is faster than XM800 over most terrain and has better armour the gunsight flap has saved my from DM53 before, the XM800 was only added because Britain became nightmare difficulty to fight for everyone and it needed a counterpart in the US tree to give them a chance, not like russia has the BTR which is basically an obese twin.
