So combined arms, tanks, planes and helicopters… combined arms, but helicopters don’t have anything to do with planes despite it being combined arms and despite helicopters and planes fighting each other and helicopters and tanks do not.
Don’t use too much logic
That would require him to use logic in the first place.
So please tell us what is the mode that tanks have for themself?
GAB and GRB
You mean those combined arms modes that are only combined in the ways that fit your narrative, so they’re not combined when it comes to air and helicopters and they’re not combined when it comes to ground being it’s own thing.
Which are not modes just for tanks as they are combined?
Again.
Which one?
Heli’s would be useless in air battles.
If you want TO go play WOT.
So there is no mode just for tanks as You said here:
Thanks for confirming. Not to mention bold words coming from someone who doesn’t even play ground units.
Good thing tanks are so useful in air battles then?
And helicopters can equip AA missiles so that’s infinitely more useful than tanks.
Not really since air maps are much larger than ground.
I do play ground so I don’t know what you’re talking about.
So what is this mode that tankers have for themself? The biggest number of battles in a vechicle in RB is 17, in AB is 101. Not that much when You compare it to the number of games in the air.
Still makes helicopters a lot more viable than tanks to engage air, there is way more overlap there than between tanks and helicopters.
Would love to see Z-19E destroying everything
Yeah it sure is annoying when a vehicle is in the same match as vehicles it shouldn’t be matched together with, don’t you think?
@EddyXX Look what I found.
6km all aspect is 3 times the range of the average ground forces map as well.
One time in SB I was able to use Mi-28NM against aircrafts that were just taking of enemy airport.
I can just say, they didn’t like that.
Nice found. I remember when he said that I was a “horrible player and a CAS abuser,” and now he is here complaining about how hard it is to grind stock helicopters, also Chinese, one of the most easy to play tech trees too lmao
Anyway back on topic, let me help this guy.
@Zyranovos I suppose you are grinding Swedish helicopters. I’ll tell you that they are kind of good to start learning helicopters and not so hard to grind, i guess. I don’t have it, but I can say that every helicopter until the AHS has the best ATGM you can get already unlocked. This means that you are already good to go to provide the best CAS you can without painful grinding with dumb rockets or golden eagle paywalls.
You are not making so many points because you are probably using it wrong (with respect), and you must learn some ground rules to understand how to be more effective on the battlefield.
I’ll stick with Ground RB. PvE is the most boring gamemode ever, and it’s just a waste of time. You will not learn anything aside from basic controls.
A good grind method is playing Sim because you get good points and you can spawn the heli first, so you don’t waste time on tanks, but the controls are different, and there is a big problem right now that we talked about here: https://forum.warthunder.com/t/remove-qn506-from-9-2-sim-battles/4812 , so just avoid it for now.
From personal experience, I can say that it is possible to grind the helicopters. Recently, I unlocked the Apache MK.1 starting from the Scout, from 13/03 (Alpha Strike update) to 22/03. My goal was to skip the Wessex because I wanted MK.1 so much, so I focused on 9 days of griding and finished the tech tree. Now I just miss the Wessex, i will play it later.
I played mainly RGB and occasionally Sim, I used Reserve tank for 8.3/9.0 and the Squadron one for 10.3 and I used some Golden Eagles to boost crew skills and unlocks a couple of modification on Lynx and MK.1 to make it playable.
It was painful? Yes, of course, but not impossible.
