Why are all my teammates always so very bad?

As soon as I position myself to engage 3 phantoms at the same time, look what happens, just shy of 4 minutes after the start of the game :

Gaijin, why are you putting me in the same team as these guys?
This is not a rare case. 50% of all games I play are just like that.
Why is this happening to me? What did I do to get this punishment?

Well, that is what happens when you play a BR filled with premium fighters, you get games filled with people who barely know how to play the game and yet jumped to aircraft that need a 3 hours coures to get a basic undersanding of their features.

Sorry, but for the name, it was too much.

Why are all my teammates always so completely brain-dead and retarded

kiki73tp1 (the allied highest scoring player) should be the one complaining in the Forums about teammate performance because you didn’t even tried at least.

Ah yes, meet me, who was very aware of my abysmal level when i started playing. 4 years later i think i am doing a bit better, but their are still some area of the game that i strugle with.

goood o7

Something something skill based match making. Etc.

Did you perhaps read my statement at the top of my post?
Read it again, very carefully. Then we can talk.

It is what it is.

Sometimes theres nothing you can do.

10.7 is premium slop BR.

You are at a br with a lot of people who bought their way there.

The thing that pisses my off more than the team collapsing is when i decide to help a teammate with an enemy behind them only for my teammate to always pull the worst possible turns which leads me to not being able to line up a shot.

Ok then let me read and discuss about the subject, left the elephant in the room that was the lack of your participation in the match to another moment justifying that you were posititioning yourself to engage three targets at the same time for four minutes which ends up in you crashing your airplane.

I’ve took the time and watched the replay of this match and I must say:

You did a whole lot of nothing, what do you expect of me to discuss about climbing for three minutes, dying and leaving the match right after, first of all this rant is pointless. Regarding your post Setting some rules to determine which players can participate in WarThunder forum discussions and according to Gaijin’s Code of Conduct which I think you broke, but that’s on a Game Master, not me:

Inactive Gameplay and Deliberate Losing. Deliberately remaining inactive during a match (i.e., being “AFK”) or taking actions that lead to a loss, such as wandering around the map without completing objectives or avoiding engagement with opponents.

Were you the one who took my base when I was bombing with my premium fighter?

This is exatly why i say there must be some rules ragarding who should get to post in forums.
I didn’t wanna do it but you forced my hand into searching your id.

Seeing your stats got me thinking why would I even care or consider the meaningless banter of a player whose number of air battles are less than 10% of mine. No conclusion there but ggwp to you.

Doing this, searching for stats and stuff to know what I’m dealing with makes me sick.
Why would someone new to air battles in WarThunder make a joke of themselves like this and why would I have to be a part of that?
I dont want to.

Search up my stats and what? I’m now shaking on my boots, I’ve never claimed I’m a good player, I have my mind clear of that situation. According to StatShark, on air realistic battles, which is the game mode of that specific replay I linked and attached a video recording of earlier, I’m an average player, which is good for me I don’t consider myself a good player in air battles either so it’s fine for me.

But I don’t consider myself “new” to air battles, I’ve consistenly taken part of matches as long I can remember, not as long in ground battles that’s for sure according to my War Thunder stats. I’ve never intended to make a joke of myself actually, I don’t know where’s the laughing part here but whatever, humor is a subjective thing. But no, I’m not ashamed of my stats, they’re correctly labeled: I’m a average player.

Bro you have 1487 battles in fighters, i have 15648. It is understandable why do not undertand positioning and say things like “lack of participation” on my behalf.
Thats the “making a joke of yourself” part.
You expect me to go headon on the deck like that entire team and die instantly only to achieve nothing?

And now hear only tiny bits of my thought process for that match.
I got altitude and speed, I waited for the right opportunity to dive down on someone and taking them out to start lowering the number of enemies to make it easier to win, then I saw a lonely mirage going to fight a phantom but he didnt see the other phantom -the F4S that i found with my radar at that high altitude- and so I went to help him.

I thought F4S is a bigger threat so I should take him out first but then the 2 phantom closer to each other looked like 2 easy and quick kills with my missile and after that I would kill F4S in a dogfight.

Just when I was overshooting phantom, I saw the huge horde of enemies coming at me. That’s when I realized my team had died without functioning.

So tell me, did any of that sound familiar to your very well record of playing air battles? Or was that lack of participation because I was also in a slow F5?

Flying as fast as my plane rips and ending up behind enemies, is my play style.
Now please, get out of my topic because you definitely don’t know what you are talking about.

Plenty of players have 30k games and have horrible skills and 0.5ks. Having more battles doesn’t translate to better skills.

And frankly, he’s not wrong that you didn’t do much in that match. You’re in a 11.0 F-5E, yet you’re climbing all the way to 8km at a BR bracket where most radar jets don’t even go past 6km.

9Ps are at best a 3rd party tool, it lacks range to do most top down attacks reliably compared to other missiles of the br like AIM-9D/G/L, PL-5B, and R-13Ms. You were never going to get a kill going solo rear aspect against most other players.

You’re playing a dogfighter like a passive, long range missile slinger when the whole point is trying to dogfight low alt.

Another one…

And yet somehow by the mercy of Allah I always have positive K/D in every fighter and I manage to get aces most of the time. Only god knows how because I don’t. 🤪

And here is another one lecturing me on how to die instatntly in an F5.
Bro trust me I hate F5, I only wanted to ace it to get the research bonus and move on and never touch it again.

For someone who made a whole topic hating toxicity, you sure have a dismissive attitude towards valid criticism.

What valid criticism? My play style or someone clearly new to air batlles telling me that I’m not participating?

Again this is exactly why I say only experienced players who have seen it all, must get to have a say.
