I enter a match on Ground rb, play a bit, maybe die 2 times, and i always end up watching my skill issued AA teammates that Shoot planes like they never played the game before,
im on br 6.7 and i cant afford to see still AA teammates shooting directly at planes instead of shooting at their trajectory
im not joking with you, All of the AA teammates i always encounter never shoot the trajectory of a plane, they just aim at it and shoot like they never ever played the game,
why does it always happen?
i kill more planes with my tank machine gun than them with their Automatic Guns
They’re talking about the little grey box around aircraft you normally see in naval (or well RB, I know in AB you get a red box around aircraft/ ships an the name above it), it was added to ground years ago for both consoles & computers players yet guess who complained about it first & got it removed for themselves hah hah.
Anyway that system doesn’t even help with aiming yet 70% of PC players think it does, I call it a coping mechanism for them. Anyway for ground it just need a few more restrictions for trees.
Yet in general you still gotta aim ahead, unless you got a Saloc missile yet even then without the box toggled you still aim towards an aircraft.
Well not always, I’ve watched a lot of players on all platforms be great SPAAG on ANY platform.
The players you’re seeing probably berely ever use them & depending on BR maybe even the free ones the devs gave out, further showing off them berely using them.
Ohh well, with those that fail, at least they be used as a deterrent for aircraft attack runs as they wave off, as even poorly aimed AA fire will eventually hit home.
I’m never consistent. One day I can’t hit shit, and the next day I’m bitch slapping planes out of the sky like they’re flies. But it’s always nice to kill planes. Feels so rewarding!
I think the biggest complaint I have seen (aside from the misassumption its autoaim) is that a console player can plug in a mouse and keyboard and still use the auto tracking, a PC player doesn’t have an option for it even when playing with a controller.
Yeah, but bear in mind that I don’t play on console so I have only heard that it still works with M&K plugged in, that may not be the case or it may have been changed.
There is clearly a lot of misunderstanding, misconceptions and assumptions about the system, so it all needs to be taken with a grain of salt.
