Any WWII additions are always welcome, especially unique things like the 90mm M1; I’m definitely happy to see it.

theres a lot of developmental dead ends with a lot of versions in war thunder. There was five FV4005s but we don’t get a stage 1, nor what the stage 2 actually was (its genuinely one of the most inaccurate models in the game) the Jumbo was a dead end as the extra plates didn’t really offer any benefits in the field. TOG 2 was a dead end, nobody complained about that being added. the T64-90 lineage was a dead end from the start but the russians are still using it. being a dead end isn’t a veto for its representation

thats not what I was saying and that isn’t copy and paste it is copy and paste when they only change 2-3 things on a model like I said
you have to change more than just adding a loadout or 2, changing the thrust, or wheight

its not anywhere near as copy paste as the T54 (1949) and the T54 (1951). one only gets the APDS and the other gets HEAT-FS when there are almost zero differences beyond that other than a slightly different back to the turret. Nobody would notice if only one of them was in the game because the difference is so slight. Its the same gun too so would have used the exact same ordinance in service either way

1 doesn’t exclude the other. 90%+ of warthunder updates are top tier, it’s great when lower tiers get content. Top tier co tent sucks.

I still dont get why people are constantly asking for the A10C when the only difference it would have in game over the A is access to the LANTIRN pod and some minor stuff for the 5 people not botting in sim lobbies who actually play, CAS wise it’d just be a functionally worse F-16C at the same br which wouldn’t be terrible since it means more people would play the worse CAS plane simply because muh A10 and be free kills for most SPAA
A better fit would just be adding the F-111F with AGM-130, with the A10C being an event vehicle down the line or techtree filler at some point.
They didn’t even model the late armour or the early armour version of the only known 90mm T1E1(s) correctly XD.
