Why another New T1

I agree with @Caernarvon02 just changing a few things about a plane and its flight model isn’t really getting anything new it’s another way of copy and paste it’s like copying a whole paragraph and changing a few words in it and saying there’s a new plane or a new tank. Although giving things new load outs is nice it’s still essentially copy and paste copy the old load outs and make new ones and done

Doesnt the C have a better engine too? or am I thinking of a different jet?

Variants exist, if you don’t like that, then this game isn’t for you. There plenty more variants of the tank to add as well hehehe…

You’re rationalizing.
Using your examples;
There is a big difference between an M-1 and M-1A1 besides the gun. Likewise with Centurion and Pz. IV and the ACL and ARL are completely different besides their general shape. Beyond that there are contextual and historical differences that make them relevant.
But then there are vehicles that are obviously only added because it pads out the tree or its a low effort way of saying they added “something” in an update. This is one of them.

Yes but also they more advanced in multiple ways Abram’s is different because it changed multiple things. Bigger gun yes but if they changed absolutely anything else then it would be different all there really doing is giving a bigger turret and a bigger gun. I also am dumb so there is thhat

just like the 90mm gun T1, they historically tried a beefier gun in the context that german armour was pretty thick, its a relevant and notable variant from this and is welcome to be added

Its a massive oversimplification but you understand the point I’m putting across at least right?

It was a one-off of a line of tanks that never deployed overseas… They were a developmental deadend. Having one was enough, there is totally not any reason to have 3 or 4 of them in the game other than the Snail loves to hit copy paste.

The C gets the better GE and the A gets the P&W. so it does have more thrust but essencially the body is that same except for a few minor changes. There are also 6 nations with f-16’s and no one complained when they all got them. or the multiple nations with migs, su, or the grippen.

The military is all about multiple variants with upgrades. Gaijin has really great models for the vehicles ( not all cockpits but eh ) I get annoyed when people complain about the copy past but then get happy they get the f-15C/f-16C/F-14D/A-10C which are all variants of the same model in the game. Its like if the vehicle isnt popular and it gets another variant people come crying on the forum about copy paste and lazy no effort by the devs. People have to realize there are only so many new vehicles that are not varients to the game. People upset over variants would see half the trees removed. One tiger tank, one f-16, one tornado, ect ect.

That’s not what I’m saying really. At this point I feel tanks are kinda worthless as you get sniped from no where and then they rush spawn and you can’t even get out at this point tanks aren’t worth playing planes you at least have flares and chaff to defend yourself with while in ground battles your just SOL

Kinda like how the 76 t1e1 is stabalized and the 90 wont be.

Rudder, stabilizing attachments, electronic attachments, elevators, radar, cockpit, radio equipment, intake area, HMD compatibility… to name a few.

Good to know you think Mig-21Bis is just “changing a few things” over Mig-21F-13.

please tell me how many of those change how to play the plane in war thunder other than armament options?

I mean I agree with you but America NEEDS NEW SPAA

You screwed up…
Ah yes, so according to your question that moves the goalposts:

Leclerc is apparently copy-paste of M1A1 because they play identically…
You should know better.

no they don’t lmao

<5.5 second reload, similar armor, similar round performance, similar mobility…

So only the vehicles you think are worth adding variants of or not just low effort padding? Oh and the difference between the M1 and the M1A1 is a gun, weight, and top speed there are no contextual or historical differences that dont meet the same standards for the the 90mmT1.
