The “convertible” research is equal to the full amount you would have gotten if you had researched a vehicle of the same rank as the one you are playing.
It’s likely that you finished researching the vehicle you were researching and that the rest will be distributed to the next vehicle you choose to research. The end game screen doesn’t show the full amount as it hasn’t been applied to a vehicle yet.
