I think the event would be a lot better if the mid field AA didnt respawn, never had a problem with hawk or patriot so they can be fine

like whats the point of having ARMs and nukes when the stuff just gonna respawn

Me I did it, I made the change

Use ccrp.

CCRP bomb toss with 5 kt beats all air defences.

You can barrel roll osas timed well.

You can also use rolands to irondome osas and buks.

And once hawks/buks are dead you can spaceclimb and nullift osas/rolands. I my su 24 i destroyed second layer airfields without dying by climbing to 7km alt once hawks were down and nobody bothered me.

not needed if they increased nuke spawn points…11 kills 7 deaths to osa 1 enemy death and all you get is 658 points whaaaaaaaaaat…

Yeah just played my first match today. Gaijin never ceases to ruin their game on a regular basis. The biggest issue in this mode is the AA and they just ignore it while nerfing every part of the mode.
Tbh they probably need another review bomb to wake them up

To be fair they didn’t ignore it they said they made it the way it is and don’t plan to do anything about it

The tickets ran out on my last match before any player had enough score to even spawn a bomber

Incentivize SEAD kills.

Maybe not put it on shitty slow platforms like the A6 and A7.
Reduce the number of trees on the map too? Flakreds/OSAs shooting while in full tree cover is crazy.

Su-24M is such a good SEAD platform you can snipe hawk radars from far off.

Then maybe SEAD/DEAD should be worthwhile. Hawks are easy to hit, but the Buk sites are far more difficult because the F-4E is slower and can’t toss bomb, and the OSAs are better and longer ranged than US SAMs. Getting to the BUKs is insufferable, getting Hawks is easy.

Attacking OSAs is pointless because they respawn 12 minutes later. By the time you finish your sortie the OSAs you just destroyed are back.

Heck, getting Patriots is easy in the MiG-23MLD, you can just fly a straight line from the far airfield and toss bomb them at high alt. S300s have to be taken down flying low and have a second radar which the Patriots don’t have. At least the S300s are easier to get to with the adjusted base positions.

Technically shouldn’t the second radar that they have be the 2x AN/TPS-59 (forgot if this is the name) that are in front of the patriots in addition to linking to the HAWKs?

I’ve been ignoring the radar sites in front of the S300/Patriots. The S300 get 2 radar on the S300 site while the Patriot gets 1, ignoring the forward radar in both cases. I’m not sure how much the AN/TPS-59 affects things, but I’ve just been toss bombing patriots in the MiG and getting rid of the launchers and radar both in one go. I tried taking out the USSR forward radar positions in the A-7E and it had no affect as far as I could tell

Those radars should allow for all sites to direct munitions.
Not sure how it works ingame because gaijin hates LINK16

What he means to say is dodging one roland isn’t too bad.

Dodging the other 5 immediately coming your way is the problem. I can dodge one most of the time, but when I see 2 others and HAWK’s coming my direction, there isn’t anything you can do.

I spawned one in the mig29 just now, it took around 30 kills to get.
