I’m trying to make a suggestion but so far one suggestion was canceled. Waiting with the second suggestion to be accepted by moderation.
In short someone mixed the definition of critical and severe damage.

Right now replays are not working, but this one is not a crit either - he had damage engine from AP shll, and the visible damage tells most of the story:

Missing most of the wing, entire rudder, half of horizontal stabiliser/elevator + orange engine can now say
“Am I a joke to you, Gaijoob?”
This is not enough to score a crit.
Critical hit is when you damage a B-17s oil tank and then he crashes and you get the kill.
Hit is when you set him on fire, he crashes and you don’t even get an assist. lol
Critical hits are for the most part completely irrelevant.
