When will new top tier AAs arrive to protect the airfields? Lately many people manage to reach the allied airfield thanks also to the speed of the latest jets and kill anyone who is there to recharge or directly to repair, when will these advanced systems arrive?
Probably never I don’t think Gaijin wants scummy base camping happing in ARB more than it already is.
S500/Patriot have insane range, so they’d have to be severely artificially nerfed to operate in this capacity.
Honestly, all they need to do is replace the Rolands with Pantsir. A few of those around an airfield would be more than capable of being adequate deterrence to runway campers.

Yh i completely agree with you,the patriot/s500 have like 30km of range soo,Yh its better to have at least the pantsir/adats/2s6/flakrakrad/ito90m etc….
Wayyyy more than this. Patriot can supposedly push 150km, and S500 400km+.
ARB maps are around 128x128km while these missile systems have a range of 300+km…
Or, better yet, keep the rolands and simply remove the VEAK 40s
i think something is wrong with AA defence, for last few matches i have played there was none in the main enemy airfield and i could kill stuff unhampered
near or far airfield?
the big farther one, that is supposed to have AA, i have encountered 0 AA there today in any games where i went all the way to the enemy one
S500 while sure it’s possible to use for planes, unless soemthing has changed since I read it, it’s not for AA. It’s for ballistic missile interception, like THAAD. It’s not a patriot equivalent
S500 isnt made for aircraft. Its made to intercept ballistic missiles likely not very effevtove against anything not going strsight and mach 25
The roland has MSL that go only at 600m/s soo for the f15/su27/jas39 etc… is very slow and they can outrun the MSL and kill the player,the pantsir/2s6 etc… has 1000+m/s soo is much faster

So you’d rather be killed because AAs suck while you’re repair rather than have good AAs and possibly stay safe in your airfield? Seriously? If I go to the airfield it’s because I still have to repair/refue myself I don’t want to be killed by a player without skill who pushes enemy airfields to be able to do 1/2 kill without effort
It’s far more often that I have to deal with campers, than som1 tries to kill me whilst rearming.
Screw the S500 we need the S600, ADATS is way too powerful and needs to be balanced
Camper is not a problem because if u cant win with kill,u kill all the AA/artillery etc… AI and u can win the game with people that are campered in the airfield,and with pantsir is not impossible to kill some1 is just more difficult and requires more skill than before,because now is very easy to kill some1 in airifield
