Last year had seen 3x BR changes in waves, which was at January, April, and October.
Fast forwarding to 2025, it seems the BR changes have died down.
I will speak for aerial battles and naval, mostly RB, with the assumption that BR is based on “combat efficiency” (score/earning).
Air battles above 11.3 (11.7+) is in a disastrous state right now, with the F-14 IRIAF still dominating the match; no other 12.7 planes wipe the team that quickly or force the team to be on defensive, which puts them in a serious positioning disadvantages.
Not only that, modern Fox 3s were also buffed, carried by 13.0 planes.
As for Naval, it is in the worst shape it has ever been, with the introduction of new bots.
The extreme compression and the Scharnhorst (unfixed for years) means majority of the battleships are cannon fodder; 6.0 cruisers simply stand no chance.
It’s not even March yet, so this statement is just provocatively wrong.
F-14A IRIAF is not dominating at all, it’s doing average as it should.
F-16A ADF is vastly superior to it in air RB.
That AIM-120 update didn’t change multipath or notching either.
All I can say is patience will help you, utilize multipath with terrain following and you can stay aggressive.
And most importantly, laugh at F-14s as they’re helpless without their F90s due to learning how to defeat them perfectly every time while staying aggressive.
It needs to go higher because it is too good to be facing 11.7/12.0 planes as much as it currently does. Right now, there is nothing they can do against a 4th gen airframe with some capable ARH missiles. And the F-14A can’t go to 12.3 unless Gaijin adds some equivalent weapon on a plane of another nation. Stuff with SPO-10 (or any other bad RWR) really shouldn’t be facing off against long range ARH missiles.
This quote is completely correct. No other plane can force an entire enemy team to defend. You can’t always abuse multipathing to get out of a situation. I personally don’t believe that it’s worse than the Aim-120 carrying Harriers or the Ja37DI.
We still need massive amounts of decompression (to at least 16.0 in air) and many more planes and tanks need their BRs changed urgently.
Hm, and I hope they will adjust BR-rotations in Sim Air as well. Currently we have 3 (!) BR’s, which never are on top. OK-ish for the 12.3 aircraft who always face 12.7, but for 13.3 who only get paired with 14.0 without exception, it’s a tad too painful…
