oh aight
yea for more variable use in diferent climate ig?
and storage maybe
well constant more likely
variable would be bad if it performs differently
yea
DM 73 uses the same penetrator as DM 53 (LKE II), which ingame uses the following values:

Thus;

Perforation Limit (60° NATO):

DM 73 uses a new propellant, achieving a higher Muzzle-Velocity but with the same Penetrator, as such;

Perforation Limit (60° NATO):

So roughly 12mm higher perforation at 60° NATO.
and now do it with the correct density :P
so yea dm73 is only abt extended range not meant for more pen
The RWM brochure that lists the Tungsten-Alloy density doesnt list DM 73 but only DM 53, DM 53 A1, DM 63 & DM 63 A1
For DM 63 (or DM 63 A1, idk):

Perforation Limit at 60° NATO;

Tbf, I do wonder if Gaijin accepts that DM53 and 73 are the same Dart, because that should make it much eazyer Proving it has Anti ERA no?
Unless snail says DM73 is also not Anti ERA
More like better consistency, still the biggest chage of the propellants really was it being insensitive
yeah i like those numbers better
but 791mm is way more than the curret 653mm of our current dm53 and if they are still using almost the same shit why a big change
791 is los at 60°
talking about flat rates
Density, currently gajin uses 17500kg/m^3
But the likely correct density for german ammunition is 18500kg/m^3
not like gajin believes us
so thats why the pen is lower?
Less temperature dependent (i.e. lower difference in Muzzle-Velocity, which increases hit probability due to having the ballistics-calculations eased) and lower dispersion due to lower pressure discrepancies.
And most likely, just as DM 63, lower barrel-wear.
Idk if I have a similar presentation for DM 73 but as you can see above, I have one for DM 63.
Note: Muzzle-Velocity figures are for L/44, ref.:
Something Something not possible…
of the game implemented round ? yes
