If BOL was at IRL levels of performance I would agree. Without that, I would its got an average amount of CMs at the moment.

i wouldnt say the radar is good considering is a tws HDN radar instead of a the better tws mode so its not every good overall, but thats not really the point anyway as im not saying the plane is unusable but if you look at your 13.3 br options its prob the worse in the game and there are planes even at 13.0 that are better meaning the jets far from meta thus the reason nobody uses the thing.
From knowledge, the worst top tier fighter jet is the Su-27SM, featuring the worst radar as a end-of-the-line vehicle.
Thankfully AIM-120 doesn’t care if it’s a TWS HDN radar or a more modern radar, cause it will pitbull with its radar regardless.
If that ever changes, then I’ll likely figure out another conclusion to come to.
Also the exclusive 1 plane at 13.0 that’s allegedly better is F-4F ICE, and in reality, they’re at best equal.
Given the bug that means it has a 160° / sec scan rate instead of 80° / sec it should have and the fact its nearly unnotchable and works in any aspect. It might be the best mechanical radar in game at the moment. At least until said bug gets fixed and the Blue Vixen in the Typhoon is replaced with CAPTOR-M

Eh… If history is any indicator, maybe more like September or October for radar fixes for current top tier radars. The average is 6+ months.

The J-11A is worse in every single possible way except for having MAWS, it still has the typical N001 radar which is worse than the Su-27SM’s.

Tornado, the absolute worst airframe at this BR, and with the Mig 29SMT in existence that says a lot, no HMD, so anything mid-close range is completely out of the question, and with an okay at best radar, your long range performance is 50/,50 on whether you can lock and notch in time before getting slammed out of the air. the platform is so bad that you can’t even use it’s kit.
I think this pole actually does a good job with choosing all non-meta jets but the Tornado just sucks the most in all areas.
we will get su30 soon but the problem for russia is that we can’t get any better r77s because they literally don’t exist or are in development, if we are to get a long range missile it would have to be r37m of which it can only carry 2
U can have r77-1 and u have r27er which are great too
r77-1 and r27er are in-game already, if we’re taking maximum range too the aim120b matches the r27er and the c would just be superior, the r77-1 is the r77 in game just not called it, we could get the r27ea but Idk how to feel about paper missiles.
No r77-1 is in the files but not in the game yet and ik the r27er is in the game i just said u have that for long range

let me tell you the history of the r77, the r77 was the originally built using a lot of parts from Ukraine and after 2014 they could no longer buy these parts for obvious reasons so the r77-1 is a version built with Russian parts and it is more streamlined that is the model we have in game.
And yes the r27er has better energy but not by a lot and you can stop guiding the missile at 9 miles and pull away to avoid death while the ER cannot. And in the future the aim120c and meteor would be vastly superior.
