The D got nerfed…
It didn’t, the change in weight is utterly irrelevant, the difference in turn is as irrelevant as the buff at extremely long ranges from inertia.
It did however get the center of gravity changed alongside the C-5 which means it turns quite a bit better of rail now.
It’s still the worst top tier ARH missile off the rail and it’s not a close competition. If HOBS wasn’t meta, it would be a different story, but unfortunately it is and the AMRAAMs performance combined with the aging US airframes just make the situation really bad.

It still better than before, and despite being the worse at turning of the rail it’s long range performance remains one of the best.
The F-15s still have decent performance and at 14.3 the GE is better than the Su-30SM and J-10C.
The PoBit will also be a decent aircraft.
An F-15E with and AESA radar is what i would add idk much about the EX.
Long range doesn’t mean anything when you can turn 90° and chaff and the missile goes to narnia

Why does everyone keep talking about BVR when it’s clearly not something relevant, evading ARHs long range is way too easy, only close range performance matters as of now because every seeker has the same exact properties aside from the MICA.
Brother the 6 missile F-16 with a worse engine is not gonna survive the 10-12 missile meta.

in close Range the D was on the dev server horrible in comparison to the C, i tried 1vs1 with a mate and the C hits 10times more than the D
its a marginal buff, its still the worst at top tier and by a longshot

In which situation would you ever take the normal SM or a J-10C over a GE?
It’s superior in basically all ways, radar, countermeasures performance missile count, etc
the r77-1 is either 1st or second best missile in game depending where you want to put the mica. it has a on par radar if not better due to wider scan radius iirc. same missile count, you get a better RWR, IRST. better flight performance. has large caliber countermeasures which makes up a bit for its low count. you also get the sneaky r27ET and the perverted r27ER. r73 is the only IR HOB missile in air. there isnt much the GE has besides total countermeasure count.

Far better performance in what way? TVC which is useless, terrible acceleration and energy retention poor climb rate.
The rwr has far worse coverage and blind spots, nobody uses the IRST at top tier, the radar has the exact same 140° coverage
The large caliber countermeasures don’t make up for the absurd amount carried difference, especially chaff, the difference between large and small chaff is meaningless only flares have a difference but nowhere near enough to make up for 700 flares.
It carries only 2 more missiles which are the R-73, fox 3 amount is the same.
The F-15 has far better flight performance, it’s not even close, better RWR coverage and in Sim the HMD is completely game changing.
The J-10C has even less countermeasure, even less missile, worse radar, mediocre performance.
Outside of gimmicks that don’t fit the meta the only disadvantage the F-15GE has is the C-5 but it makes up for it in far better performance giving it better MAR.
Especially in SIM the difference is even more in there with the HMD.
well this is just wrong, the su30 keeps up with the f15 for most situations except for anything mach 1.5 and greater where the f15 just shines at. but the su30 has much better instant turn rate allowing it to notch missiles far easier and since it has TVC it has much better authority at high altitude with some of the best missiles ingame.
this is true i was thinking of the sm2 which has a 360 rwr. but its not terrible.
it has 180 degree coverage meaning you can notch while guiding, a leg up on the GE

the majority of players play ARB imo its more important to focus on what most matches and balance looks like for the playerbase.
maybe if your playing against a toddler. the MAR can just easily be notched given how slow the aim120 is compared to the r77-1 it takes a 55km shot at high alt for the aim120 to see any TTK benefit while anywhere within 50km the r77-1 is just going to whoop a aim120’s ass.

At no point in the entire chart does the Su-30 out accelerate the F-15GE
140° For both the N011M has worse vertical coverage
The Su-30 runs out quite easily the J-10 even more so
