How is bringing 1 vehicle to the battle any better than bringing 3+ and leaving after 1 death?
Result is the exact same = player only played 1 vehicle.
What do you mean 1dl is a “punishable offence”? It certainly is not.

I dont 1DL except extreme circumstances, otherwise i try to play my lineup. Only time i dont bother is if nothing i have is any good vs what enemy has ie wiesel with hvap vs anything not airborne. I have on occasion left after two or three deaths when i get tired of getting flanked because the team refuses to have any map presence.

Getting a map where its spawn-spawn(In other words you can see in to the enemy spawn from yours) also getting the same map 6 times in a row… especially when it has the above mentioned problem is just 2 I can think of atm

It isnt. It’s much much worse!
Bringing a full lineup and then deciding to leave for whatever reason is pefectly fine.
Choosing to bring just one vehicle is dumb and almost an insult to your team mates.

However;
Summer Sale leftovers are causing a huge problem.
Just lost a match that we were winning easily because by midmatch half the team 1DL’d. Looking at their lineups, they all only had 1 tank, and it was a tank that was on the last sale. And they were all very low level players with tech trees well behind their new shiny summer sale premium…

I rarely do it but i have been doing it because gaijin in particular felt adding a vehicle they admitted they cant model because the game engine can’t model.it, would be fun to add and it fails to be able to do anything so its a bit frustrating.
I have a solution for this, though it’s a bit annoying to use it , but at least you get out of the loop faster.
Go and blacklist the map. I go do this after i get a second time a map that i don’t like.
But as i said it is annoying to go do it all the time.
it’s a good thing that chinese players don’t use puppet accounts to join at the same time as them and one-death-leave in mass to put the enemy team at a disadvantage

Yeah good thing this is something that totally doesn’t happen and I’ve totally never seen happen firsthand multiple times.
Where is the “The battle is full of CAS and i’m tired of continue playing like that” option? Well, TBH maybe is not 1dl, but casDL.
I have lost more matches to my team jumping IN to CAS as soon as they can and losing all the cap points than I have to BEING CAS’d.
