What is your opinion on Ticket bleed via ground pounding in air realistic battles?

Yeah, that would make sense. Just imagine matches ending because a few F-15Es got coordinated

Im almost positive that the AI A4’s and Mig-15’s dont bleed tickets anymore. I think this was a change last major update or the update before but someone can correct me if im wrong.

Air RB is such an odd game mode and there certainly could be improvements made to it. Id say at the lower BR’s, Air RB sorta works well and distinguishes itself enough from Air Arcade but everything kinda falls apart once you get into the missile and supersonic jet meta. Air Arcade becomes really frustrating at the upper BR’s and in many ways Air RB sorta replaces Air arcade by becoming the “quick match” mode.

Im not really sure what the best solution is. I think it depends on whether or not Gaijin introduces Air RB EC.

If they do introduce RB EC then they could really lean into Air RB being a quick match mode. Maybe they can reduce team sizes to 12 v 12 then and truly remove much of the AI to really lean into that team deathmatch.

If they don’t introduce RB EC then there needs to be some sort of middle ground to allow some form of air to ground capacity within the standard Air RB.

Ultimately i really hope they bring back RB EC. The SEAD event that occured a few weeks ago really was great and to me showed that Gaijin kinda understood what was needed for a more strategic mode - no markers, respawning, interactive objectives, etc.

But Gaijin seems very hesitant to add a new mode. So maybe if they do its a weekend only mode or its just some minor changes to Air RB.

Either way the current Air RB definitely could use improvements.

they dont, and they will remove the ground target when they destroy it, leading to games where its impossible to win via tickets because your own friendly AI killed TOO MANY targets

Because CAS planes should be usable in ARB as well ?
I would actually give more importance to those vehicles as because, right now, higher tier ARB is mainly fighter-only modes which obviously isn’t good.

I couldve sworn they removed this auto ticket bleed feature. Maybe they just nerfed it alot?

Either way it’s a stupid feature and should be removed.

i usually try to avoid this by getting cheap shots against bot planes, few rounds and they go down, and it knocks a bunch of tickets over time, usually theyre in group so easy to shoot down fast.

No, this is not inappropriate or offensive and abusing flags to hide embarassing truth only shows how shallow your points are.

Because its a low blow and doesn’t contribute much besides the argument turning to a monkey poop throwing contest.

It feels buggy or broken to an extent, Some attacker planes like the A-26 from what I’ve seen don’t pierce the targets they’re trying to attack at all.

It isn’t.

But you can lose to the opposing team killing a LOT of AI’s, since killing them is one of the game objectives.

If you want to play a game that doesn’t have these objectives then maybe WT ARB isn’t for you.

Yep - apparently they are clever enough to play that objective and you are not.

Remove ticket bleed from all gamemodes, make people actually fullfill the objectives, this includes killing all the AIs.
Games have already time limites. Ticket Bleed is unnecessary.

Just got out of a game in Battle of Tunisia, enemy wyvern killed like 4 pillboxes. Game bled alot of tickets by itself. Destroying all their attackers didnt even accomplish our objective. Final two enemy bombers destroyed 2 of our bases and that was game, we couldn’t even climb for position because they had two wyverns and we had to rush to middle in case they started inhaling the pillboxes.

I’m firmly against this map appearing in any BR. Extremely biased.

Tunisia is, was and will be a pain by design.

The main issue with this (and other maps) is a major design flaw whilst updating them. It boils down that gaijin increased the ticket amount whilst keeping the number of ground units unchanged. As a result killing a pillbox or an ai tank (Do 335s can kill all your tanks quite fast) has a much higher relative ticket impact.

So whilst the overall map design on Tunisia was always crap, the update from a 3 to a 4 bases map made it way worse.

As gaijin refuses to react on specific map design related feedback we have this mess. Gaijin has zero interest to change anything on this map - just imagine how many boosters they killed with keeping this map in rotation.

?? the chinese guy started it with ridiculous words like “fighter supremacist” (???), if you make stupid claim, you DESERVE to be ridiculed.

My main problem with it was when the ai was doing it

1 hour arb should be back and tickets should bleed in that time length.
