Ticket bleed removed from killing all forms of AI vehicles

Ticket bleed via ground pounding is an infuriating mechanic of which I’m sure that has affected many of you here. Why should the result of a game played by people be entirely dependent on a single plane killing a few AIs? There have been many complaints about the matter, of which I don’t believe have had any effect on improving or removing the mechanic.
As for how the ground pounding should be changed, Comment as to how you would like it to be changed
My reasoning for this post is that I just had a really great game in the Mirage IIIC, down to a 1v1 but then denied due to the infamous ticket bleed
Sure camping airfields in general do lead players to ground pound, but in this game, as I’m sure many others have had to experience in games where you are outnumbered, I feel cheated that of all the ways to lose, its to an irrelevant and flawed mechanic which I think has no place in game. I don’t believe I played this game wrong at all, and so why should I be given the L from some AI.
Automatic ticket bleed has been completely removed for a few updates, so I don’t think anything needs to be changed. Outside of a handful of unbalanced maps, if you’re losing to ticket bleed, it is partly your fault.
It doesn’t exist.
AI fragging AI doesn’t drop tickets.
Unless you’re complaining about people fragging other people and AI… which is the whole point of this PVPVE game.
You did not lose due to “infamous ticket bleed”. You lost because the enemy players, real people, out-played your team.
Again, refer to the post you replied to.
Players fragging AI targets is players out-playing your team.
Frag the enemy players going after ground targets and you’ll win, AKA out-play them.
Then go play a dedicated PVP only game, play arcade battles where PVP is prioritized.
PVP only games are too saturated as is.
I like PVP, but if the enemy team plays better than mine overall in the PVPVE game that I chose to start playing over 12 years ago, then they deserve the W.
Outplayed by killing some AI targets? Get a grip. Notably, AI targets of which serve absolutely no purpose to your team overall. Why should they cause ticket bleed?
You clearly have never been in an F-104S vs a fighter in a 1v1.
You haven’t dodged countless attacks by an on-skill opponent in a superior aircraft as you attacked ground targets for the win starting when the enemy team had massive ticket advantage only barely winning with less than 500 tickets on your own team remaining.
Inferior aircraft that objectively lose in 1v1s but can ground strike for a chance of winning, the underdog winning the match due to survival skills and game knowledge.
You/your team knew where the enemy player CAS was and you/your team let them destroy your ground units without a fight.
So you’re now making a comparison against one of the most overBRd planes in game. the 104S still has the capability to kill him, or it can run to the airfield and leave the match.
How about fight back against said opponent, or choose not to play a plane you dislike playing? You’re prioritizing ground targets instead of saving your plane?
I’ll let you know the last guy was in a MiG-21 of some form, more than capable of taking out my aircraft.
Or they used their superior speed to evade other planes? None of your points even acknowledge the issue here. So now my team has to hunt and kill enemy CAS planes alongside fighting other fighters? (Clearly they were incapable of both)
F-104S is no where close to the most over-BR’d plane. It was OP just 0.3 BRs lower when literally everyone I knew was getting 4 - 6 frag matches multiple times a day when their average frags per match were significantly lower.
That match when it was a 1v1 vs a fighter was when it was OP, it’s just only OP when your team is alive.
If you think you can fight a dedicated fighter with an F-104, you’re more than welcome to try.
Either way, a failure to frag a CAS aircraft is not the game’s fault. Take responsibility for your actions and inaction.
Many of my losses are due to inaction against CAS aircraft on my part and other players’ part.
There’s a match where I could’ve fragged a weak CAS player, but chose to go after a fighter, when the detour would’ve been at most 30 seconds; a lapse in judgement.
Then if your team is dead, maybe you lose because you and your team were outplayed? Isn’t that how every match should be? You lose via skill, not because one guy decides to ditch his team and kill some AI
So you, by going for the CAS fighter open yourself up to be attacked by the dedicated fighter? whats the point here.
They recently removed the auto ticket bleed from AI vs AI and that was a big help. It was horrific before when AI could just end the game themselves.
At least now, ticket bleed requires player action.
Im honestly conflicted. I feel like its fine right now but idk maybe it would be better without AI ticket bleed but then air rb just becomes purely team deathmatch so i think leaving it as is works well.
The problem with removing it altogether is then theres even more of an incentive for players to camp their own airfield AA which is annoying.
Airfield AA is a different issue. I can’t help but think that ground pounding can retain the SL or RP rewards, but it should either not affect tickets whatsoever or decrease it’s effect. Maybe lower SL/RP rewards for non strike fighters ground pounding, but those strike aircraft have bases to bomb. As I see it, Ground pounding is a easy way to just end a match quicker
