Not a tank but probably close to say a Type 60 ATM or M41D in terms of pain (general observation of the GF community say these are the two most painful tanks above Rank III yet that’s subjective depending player to player) but I say the Tacoma class Frigate USS Hoquiam PF-5 would be my pick especially prior to the free parts/FPS that was added this year.
That thing just sucks even apon being elited but as a stock machine it’s the definition of the WORST GRIND EVER, Essentially it’s like an 17 SP Valentine Mk.I Archer in that it cannot fire forwards has Rank V requirements for mods/repairs/ammunition costs & only has a HE shell stock, it’s slow and if GF had a far back spawn further behind the standard spawn that’s the spawn you get.
I truly wish I did most of the stock grind between December 2021 & February 2022 as prior to December it was 42-54k sl repair & post February it was 25k (did it post feb, CURSE YOU RANK BASED ECONOMY CHANGE!!) but for a brief two months it was a mere 6-8k to repair.

Spaded it about 2016 so had no idea they would do this! It definately did not always have this as was standard AP as stock (with HE shell also).
Any 10.0 + with heat rounds untill rank 3 of upgrades lmao

I think all vehicle should get their best round or missile as stock. Everyone should be able to repair and aircraft should get counter measures if they have them. Module unlocks should then grant you stuff like more ammo, more missiles and Countermeasures than stock and a faster repair time.
It is super frustrating when tanks like panther or tiger 2 get the best round as stock but something like the Sherman 17pdr has to go to level 3 to unlock best round. Or at high tier air you get no CMs and rubbish AAMs so you are completely useless against spaded Mig 29s and F16s.
I think the worst grind would be the rank 7 verhicle once you unlock it and you still to grind to get decent shell and termals to make it something worth in top tier battle.
I made the worst decision to skip the 3BM42 round for the T-80 BVM. The result is 10:1 death/kill ratio…

Stock HEAT-FS at top tier is honestly the worst. I would rather have an even weaker dart. At least something that behaves the same way as APFSDS.

I think the worst stock grind I’ve ever done was the Q-5 Early when it was first introduced into the game. Never got missiles, never got flares, the NR-30s of the MiG-19s replaced with 23mm beanbag launchers, pathetic bombload which you had to grind and you had to contend with top tier at the time, which iirc included Phantoms and Drakens and you were the same BR as the Jaguar GR.1 for… some reason. Never flown it since, it’s made redundant by the Q-5A and they both now bully G.91s and Vampires.
There’s probably worse now, more than half of the US ground tree having potatoes as stock ammo comes to mind. And I avoid the torture of stock heat at top tier by PvE farming in Assault.
The Kanjpz (JPz 4-5) after they changed its stock shell from APCR to HESH. At least APCR could do some damage, 90mm HESH does actually nothing
Peoples who care about their K/D ratio should unlock the modules in Arcade Assault mode.
