As long as you play it like a light tank, yes. No Abrams can take hits reliably. The only thing you CAN rely on is being a sitting duck if you get lucky and tank a hit. Even their turret cheek can be penned.
Which most nations have by 2.0. A good portion have .50cals even on reserve planes.
Afaik only the US has reserve planes with 50cals I might be wrong but many nations don’t have much more than rifle caliber at low tiers
U.S. and Italy get 12.7mms directly on the reserves. There’s a few other nations with .50cals or 20mms on non-reserve 1.0s or 1.3s. every other nation has either 12.7mms or autocannons by 2.0.
It’s also worth mentioning that there’s tons of open tops at 1.0 - 3.0 so high pen weapons really aren’t even necessary to dominate enemy team.
fair, but I think this can be said about any FnF Spaa.
