What influences objective spawn rate? Particularly attackers/bombers/superiority. Is it map dependent?

I have played 1 match on Sicily and 1 on Sinai. The Sicily match had nearly constant attacker/bomber spawns, and if not there was always an air superiority objective. This made it pretty easy to find some action/practice and was quite thrilling!

Then I decided to try again on Sinai and… dozens if more minutes passed with only convoys being spawned - not even frontlines, just convoys and bases. Very rarely, a superiority/surveilance craft spawned. Over 2 hours of sinai, I think I’d only seen 2 bomber spawns from the enemy team.

Is there anything I can do to try and influence objectives, or is it purely random? Is it dependent on playercount, planetypes spawned or map?

I tried googling/searching, but all I found were complaints about rewards nerfs.

I’m pretty sure each map has it’s own pattern. Dover Straight, for instance, is one of the worst, most broken maps for Sim… Each teams bombers go to D4 and circle until they’re shot down, once one is down the other teams spawns in and the map ALWAYS goes to 3 hours.

Other maps seem to throw everything out at the same time so there’s like 8 objectives at any given time.

I think when it’s working correctly, once one objective is over a new one spawns (and usually the opposite teams version).
