What happened to the APHE rework it feels exactly the same?

Nah, that’s really just a bad excuse.

Or tell me, which tank can only be balanced by having a cupola weak spot?

It isn’t only about cupolas, but small weakspots somewhere on the edge of the tank in general.

Things like T28/T95, M4A3E2, Tiger Porsche to some extent, KV-220, hell even Tiger 2h falls into this category as majority of lower tier tanks can only frontally pen it either in MG port or cupola. Basically anything that has exceptionally strong armor for it’s BR, but can be frontally killed by shooting a proper weakspot with APHE.

Tanks in WT are way more survivable than they are in real life. It’s only right for the damage to be adjusted to offset that.

Don’t push all of the aformentioned tanks yo become the 2nd Maus. We don’t need any more of imbalancable “either you pen or you don’t” type of tanks.

Or you know, they could stop butchering maps and encourage multiple fronts of combat with viable alternate routes to contest and pressure objectives and the enemy team.

The only reason frontal weakness matters is because most of our maps are a single lane to a single cap in the middle of the map and when you try to drive around or behind, you get told you’re out of map bounds (or the only routes are no cover open fields that are so flat, you cannot even use ditches/hills to sneak around).

Something being unbeatable from the front shouldn’t be “we need to raise its BR.” It should be “Damn, it’s time to abandon this push and pressure another lane.”

In Dota, if the whole enemy team is sitting under tower at high ground you go and do Roshan or start farming, not suicide frontally into a defended position.
