What Ground Vehicles are Sweden in most need of ”the wishlist”

So given sweden lacks any 5.x vehicles and with Danish vehicles and possibly Norwegian ones being added to fill gaps, anyone else hoping to get a Norwegian or Danish Spitfire so we actually have some form a good CAP?

Im pretty sure it dosent get spikes looking at the mock ups. It would have to be in the center blocked by the comanders mast or in the sides where the aps is located also blocking it. Adding a spike launcher and the system to use it would not fit i dont think. (Also remember the massive autoloader and gatling gun modules) that being said it would be absolutely dope if it had spikes

Buk is getting added next update so this would be nice. The current SL wagon is lacking.

They’re almost obligated to add the Buk given the current state of the Elde.

They won’t though. Though if they’re adding the Buk M3 (which is the one that would make the most sense), I’m not sure we’ll get it on account of the model differences.

There’s also the ITO-12 NASAMS, a non C&P completely of nordic origin. Missile system made by Norway and put on a SAM truck by Finland. It’s pretty much as effective as the IRIST-SLM

This would be preferrable to the others tbh because unlike the swedish IRIS-T or ITO-96, it’s completely original.

AFAIK NASAMS can’t fire when sit on truck, that truck is only to move stationary launcher and to deploy it

It can’t be even ‘towed’ as there are no wheel.

Yeah but with the new placing feature it could work just the same. Given that you would have to spawn the trucks with the battery on it then use that truck to place the battery.

Also I wonder if it is capable of firing from the bed on a pinch. No sources to state that though.

It would be a wonderful thing to see more ground vehicles in the Swedish TT. I think the Swedish TT needs more Danish/Norwegian vehicles, such as M41DK and Leopard 2A7DK. At the same time, Sweden still has significant room for development, such as the high-end version of the CV 90 MK.IV (equipped with higher caliber machine guns and active defense systems). Proper copying and pasting can also help improve the Swedish TT, such as the IRIS-T SLM self-propelled air defense vehicle imported from Germany.

No they aren’t, the more you expect it to arrive the more you’re setting yourself up for disappointment. The only time sweden is given good vehicles is when its a trashy leo at top tier. (Not saying they’re bad but i prefer literally anything to a leo. They’re just too slow for my taste.)

I disagree with the 2A7, i love my home country but sweden definitely doesn’t need our 2A7 yet. Id much rather see more high end light tanks over another Leo.

I don’t expect it. But common decency would dictate the addition to the tree given Buk is coming to the Russians. But I suspect they don’t want to model the Finnish one so either we aren’t getting it, or it’s going to be an incorrect copy paste.

Common decency? Common decency? You expect anything from gaijin after what they continue to ignore? Im sorry but its more likely gaijin will say the Elde is fine for the next 6 years and when we have SPAA with 30 missiles with 60km range Gaijin will still think the Elde is fine.

On top of this and the one with Iron Fist, there’s also a few other variants that could be added.

First is the prototype, which doesn’t have smoke grenade launchers and is pretty bare of features in general, I’m not sure if it even had a coaxial machine gun. It also doesn’t have the prominent commander’s sight of later models.

Prototype

CV90120-T-Prototype-300x225

The 1998 model, this was the first and last one to use externally mounted smoke grenade launchers, and doesn’t have the spherical commander’s sight we’re familiar with.

CV90120 (1998)

CV90120-T-Medium-Tank

These last two were mentioned prior, but the CV90120 in-game is an early variant of the CV90120-T as far as I know, but the one in this picture below features an RWS and hard kill APS, showcased at MSPO 2007 in Poland.

CV90120-T

This one probably doesn’t need much explanation, but it has the ‘ADAPTIV’ add-on cells to the vehicle to hide its thermal signature.

CV90120 Ghost

Now, do we need all these CV90120s? Probably not. Would it be fun to have a lineup full of them? Absolutely. Also yes, please give it DM53 or something, thank you.

I did not say they had any, just that it reasonably should obligate them. If you’d bother to read my statements, I’m quite pessimistic about it ending up in the Swedish tree.

Ill accept that, i didn’t fully read through your message and definitely jumped to conclusions, thats on me.

More high end light tanks are undoubtedly a good thing. The L2A7DK I proposed is only based on the fact that Gaijin is may be currently producing more vehicles from Denmark for the Swedish TT. Of course, the final decision will be made by Gaijin^-^

As restated by gaijin neither Denmark or Norway are subtrees of sweden. Gaijin can at anytime add their vehicles to any other nation unfortunately
