What even is "passive behavior"

I was reported for passive behavior, it seems so. I have been playing lots of ARB recently, and have focused my effort on bombing bases to get modules for the F-14 early, F-15A, Su-27, Su-30SM, and Eurofighter.

I have never been reported for passive behavior before. Is it because of someone spam-smashing report button on me?

The only “passive” thing that I do is that I bomb, or run very far away/very high up, toss-bombing style. Playing other way would get me shot down.

I use the airfield spawn so I can wait for my teammates to fight it out, and sometimes I take a longer route to flank but the round may end before I even get there.

Bombing bases is passive behavior,yes

Passive behavior is like staying at airfield; I don’t do this. I just toss bomb from high alttitude to increase my odds of surviving.

Flying around for 10 min before you bomb or after is passive.

What if I just rush back to base after bombing

I just play like this

Its not even passive. Its to buy me time to not get shot down that quickly.

Don’t know why anyone is upset with you. It’s literally a mechanic in the game.

You need to waste your time bombing to progress. It’s the games fault not yours.

Otherwise what is the point of the bases and air to ground ordnance?

I wouldn’t sweat it if I were you, they are just upset they have to find you rather than running head on and missile spamming.

I don’t think you understand the lore behind this guy.

I’m no different to the low tier side climbing bombers, except that I don’t care about dying. Its 1000 RP for me either way if I died.

Basically free kills for the enemy team.

I mean if that’s how you want to play the game and grind for / spade the vehicles you actually want to play, I can kinda get that.
Though once you actually get that vehicle / spade the vehicle, you are most likely going to have no clue how to play it in a PVP context.

I have multiple air trees at top, so I know what exactly I want to play and my playstyle

I don’t mean this in a disrespectful way but I am not too concerned with the lore.

He’s playing the game, using the tools they give to progress. It’s that simple really. And if someone doesn’t like it then there’s another argument to be made with someone else. Being reported for it is only hurting him so he has more of a right to be upset with the system.

Not knowing the lore means I can give you an outside opinion.

Preach.

I mean feel free to do that I guess.
I personally can’t be bothered bombing bases over and over again, but you definitely shouldn’t be reported for that.

Encouraging zombing is morally bad, but indeed not against any rule.

I never said it was, he shouldn’t be banned, but his “playstyle” is quite concerning.

I think a good portion of the air playerbase plays like this, which is a lot more concerning in my opinion.

And you can’t really blame them since the only way they can get to the vehicles they actually care about as quickly as possible is either learning how to play well in terms of air pvp (which takes time and effort) or just bombing bases and maybe get a couple kills before dying.

can people just let others play the way they want? i dont see a problem with this (although i only play ground so i dont know much)

My concern is that even when he reached top tier, had the top tier jet grinded out, he still bombed. Like, what’s the point? I don’t know if he changed his ways since then but he once had a 0.02 KD in the F-14 IRIAF, which is genuinely insane. How is that fun?
