I was joking about the fact that they keep adding planes with more and more amraams instead of fixing them
The chances of F-15EX getting 22 amraams are probably higher than getting any kind of buff to the amraams

I think im gunna go for 4x ASRAAM + 5x Meteor fit when that becomes an option.
well only one the UK one, its the only one able to carry the asraam

No, All EFT would be able to carry ASRAAM and IRIS-T unless it is not compatible. Compatibility plays an important role on deciding whether weapon/ ammo can be given or not

Buying does not matter either, look at M1A2T, Taiwanese’s/Indonesian AH-64E and SU-30MKM, Taiwan never purchased AGM-179 or KEW-A2 yet they still got it due to compatibility

Both use Captor E mk2 [Unlike the German one :( ], all three on them would have Meteor, IRIS-T and ASRAAM,
UK one has a LWS though

I still don’t get it how LWS is important in jet. In ground RB sure it could be somewhat useful but in air rb how is it helpful in any way? (Beside the joke that British Eurofighter preform better then Italian Eurofighter even though both are same in every aspect accept for LWS)
it has its uses in sim and ground. But that doesn’t change the fact its objectively better

For ground, sure, It might help new CAS players to avoid laser guided weapons used by Heli and ADATS however in terms of pure A2A and sim, how does it make it better then any Italian EFT?
it gives you more time to react, if a heli looks at you you know it, if a fighter with a targeting looks at you with laser on, you know and can react sooner.

You know in practice there is no difference between both CAPTOR radars, those slightly wide angles doesnt even help most of the time.
Would be useful in sim/ground rb but i don’t think it has any use in air rb. I don’t remember seeing any player using targeting pod to lock air targets in both sim or rb (Though I would ask players next time I play sim. If many players do use it in sim then I can see the benefit)
I agree with that but I still don’t understand why would make it better then Italian fighter in game mode like air RB and air sim.

I got both German and British AESA EFT and never even noticed the radar angle difference once.
I’m just wondering how will gaijin implement ir missiles tho, will they mix it or keep it spesific for each EFT user.

weird, i use the last few degrees i get every round in the UK one, i could not imagine needing to notch and holding the tws lock with 10° less
