why are we letting fully mouse guided atgm sit at 6.7 when they get down tiered into 5.7 and fight 1942 tech.
Now we got the 6.3 tanks that are 1944 tech getting destroyed by CCIP tech that should not be at 7.3 it should be at 8.7 or 9.3 at best, what are you guys doing??? did you guys ever thing of saying hey maybe we shouldnt add this feature to the game? do you guys have anyone testing anything?
we already know you guys dont care an ounce about ww2 era vehicles but you dont have to keep ruining the darn thing by adding more garbage to the low brs good god for once stop your selves from doing things like this.
For the ATGM complaint, can we just skip to the end when you actually get to use a mouse guided ATGM in game, and learn that they’re almost always a worse option compared to practically any high pen round.
Or I guess you can simulate it well enough by having to spot a target, drive out into the open to target him, then wait 5-10 seconds depending on the range before you’re allowed to shoot him.
Oh, and if you’re hulldown, remember to flip a coin first. Heads it overcorrects right into the ground, and you waste a shot.
As for CCIP, probably fair. From what I’ve heard, it’s absurdly dominant if uncontested, but a sitting duck against any plane that’s likely to go up against it. Not a good gameplay dynamic
it’s one of those things that a nightmare with compression, it can absolutely devastate ground vehicles but CAP will murder it and radar SPAAGs are pretty deadly too, if they hold fire and let you get close as it’s too slow to dodge out of the way from shorter ranges and lacks RWR so you don’t know you are being tracked until they open up, that said most of them open up from several kms and you can counter snipe them with the Zunis.
It would be fine going up to 7.7, but at 8.0 the HE-VT and AHEAD SPAAGs would make it pretty well unplayable with their stealth belts.
Also the SP cost of the Zunis needs to be increased, 1 CAP and you can pull them, thats probably too cheap even for the hydras.
I’ve flown that. It’s a piece of junk lol, barely flies, turns, or climbs, worse at all 3 than any prop 2 BRs lower than it. Free kill even to most SPAA, you dodge once and that’s all your speed gone. The rocket and bomb computer is the one thing going for it.
also thats the lamest excuse, if its garbage dont add it in the first place, all you do is ruin the immersion of the match, gaijin needs to learn to say no we shouldnt add this from time to time.
yeah its a free kill, after you realize its there by that time it has killed 3 to 4 people, ccip is a 9.3 to 9.7 tech remove it if you want to keep it at that br
This is the better solution. Since from the sounds of things there’s never going to be a BR bracket where it’s fair, we can just get as close as possible then crank up the SP costs of it so that it becomes far less of a nuisance.
In an ideal world, CAS loadout SP costs would be determined by the number of kills a player can expect to achieve with it in a single flyout. A single small bomb drop should never cost as much as a having two or 3 seperate bombs, etc.
And while we’re at it, let’s actually cement CAP as a solid counter by adding a despawn point you can fly into to get out of CAP and back onto the ground without suiciding. Hell, add it for CAS as well. It just needs to exist so players can take up a CAP plane without resigning themselves to shooting down maybee a couple of CAS planes and then pointlessly orbiting the map for the rest of the game. Or suiciding into something squishy, throwing away the ability to do CAP for the rest of the game.
yeah thats called a video game set in ww2 lol? whats the issue, my problem is the garbage heatfs and atgm making thier way into lower and lower and lower br each year
