Weather causes day battle to turn in to pure dark battle Ground RB

Very recently some night battle are literally brighter then this. I can barely see a single thing it is pitch black. If gaijin YOU want a Day battle make it sunny and not too cloudy. if you want a night battle make it dark and foggy and as cloudy as possible.

What do you guys think?

Evening + clouds does that.

Sun goes too low and suddenly it’s like a night battle.

In ASB, this usually occurs ~1-1.5 hours after match starts at evening IME, so it’s prolly that GRB picks a specific hour to start randomly rather than the hard turn-over from “day” to “evening”

I mean i love playing in night battle but Gaijin keep giving me ghost shell or my 800 Ping I could have gotten more kills those kills are so delayed One shot was by mis click and somehow after 5 second that was the real shot then it landed on the leopard which magically pop out of the house then i got the kills. The enemy were very very blind I was using NVD for better viewing so I wonder wether Gaijin shall make an exception to darker maps starting with Night vision on for better views. I don’t think those players use Night vision at all They were very very blind.

Thats not weather, That is a dusk battle

The clouds.

Yes, they have an impact. But its not “cloudy weather causes it to be dark”

Its "cloudy weather + dawn/dusk makes it dark. That weather at any other ToD would have been fine.

I’ve even played assaults that got that combo of storm + dusk = night.

At least you have NVGs. Its even more “fun” to get it at low tier.

Those Assualt tank AI have literal Aimbots. They can see through smoke or anything.

also a symptom of no HDR, needing to compress the brightness level a lot

Ha.

Last seen this kind of battle back in 2020. IIRC back then you coudlnt even turn on your NVGs because game didnt allow you to turn them on during daytime.

just cheffs kiss
