Nah I hate it, I even started a thread complaint about it, but when things goes right you will easily earn nukes in the PUMA by camping as nobody can kill you. Merely your presence alone at certain spots would stop enemies from advancing, then watch how quickly they get taken out by teammates after you engaged them.
Its been discussed but because its on Sweden its clearly OP and under BR’D, smaller playerbase too, most videos on it say its not fun either lol

Its worse armored same hump problem, same gun, and worse mobility lol, it went up from 9.0 to 9.3
does any light tank have good armor most hits one tap the EFV its spaced armor is not very effective
Why didn’t we just get the LAV-25 as is or with its AT counterpart. we already have the LAV-AD so it wouldn’t have been hard to implement. Sorta feels like American players were given a stick to play with.
I agree that OP did not compare the EFV with the right vehicles, however I think the vehicles the EFV should be compared with (CV9030FIN/Badger) are also too high in BR. And on top of that, the sheer size of the EFV cannot be ignored. If you compare it with the FIN it might look better on raw stats, but the size just outweighs most of those advantages (I drove next to one in my TURM III the other day and the EFV towered over me, yet doesn’t have the nearly same firepower or survivability).
IRL its size makes sense: its an amphib. A speedy amphib. But that is hardly an advantage in this game, whereas the size has massive impact on how well you can play a tank. There’s a reason a lot of tiny tanks with comparable firepower (for their BR) were upped in BR update after update (looking at you, XM800T)
Do I think it is massively overtiered? No. 9.0 or maaaaybe 8.7 would be fine. But 9.3 is not where it should belong, and neither should the FIN (nor the Badger be 9.0).
I think all 200 RPM 30mm / 35mm IFVs should go down by at least 0.3. I have no clue why the M3A3 Bradley is 10.0 despite all its glaring issues and completely neutered ATGMs. Or how the CV9035s are 9.7 when the Bagel and BMD-4s are at the same BR. I think I even would rather take the BMP-3 over the CV9035s in most cases…
Or how the Puma is slow, only having armour against IFVs and HEAT warheads, but having a crewless turret, and AHEAD somehow justifies it being 10.3.
And then don’t even get me started with the 200RPM 30mm APFSDS spike launchers like the KF41, Puma VJTF, Vilkas, CV9030 Mk.4, and both the Namers being severely overtiered by 0.7 or so.

Might be because of the fact that braindead fnf missiles are frown upon lol the are actually quite effective against those ru junks without reverse gear, it’s often ohko when hit and that’s how they responsible for raking up the deaths count of my t-72s

Honestly, I was expecting 8.3 considering the BMP-2MD is at 8.7 with a better gun and tiny silhouette, and even that is considered bad at 8.7.
Bmp-2 only gets APDS (albeit with higher firerate) whereas the EFV gets APFSDS, much better mobility and hull armour that can stop most IFV APFSDS as well.
EFV at 9.0 seems reasonable.
Y’all really need to stop comparing the lacks of your vehicles to the strenghts of others. You get APFSDS good thermals and a high profil at the cost of being big, i find it to be alright at it’s current BR. Quit complaining all the time man you guys act like you always have to get the absolute best of every aspect of a vehicle otherwise it wouldn’t be fair.
This thing is an undertiered and smaller VBCI-2, consider yourself lucky.
