M3A3 is 10.0 with a potent TOW missile.*
Standard M3 doesn’t have APFSDS rounds.
Marder doesn’t have a 30mm gun firing APFSDS rounds, the closest German vehicles are Puma at 10.3, and Vilkas at 10.7.
PT-76-57 isn’t OP at all, that’s pure Russian propaganda.
Type 89 has a worse gun, it also fires APDS instead of APFSDS. APDS can shatter more.
BMD-3 and BMD-4 don’t have APFSDS.
Falcon is SPAA, and doesn’t have APFSDS.
9.3 is correct for EFV.
Its equivalents are all 9.3 and 9.7.
CV9035, CV9030 FIN, VBCI-2, RCV/ICV P…
Happy EFV owner
My opinion after 1 game
Fills a nice 9.3 gap
It’s fun
Pretty unique
Not really a game changer
It’s pretty silly
Free tonk unless you paid for it
Should you carry on grinding or buy it - i guess but it’s up to you
Looks great in the Duck pond on Flanders
Oh…
Yeah i mean i guess there’s the size. But size shouldn’t matter i heard it’s more how you use it. I guess you could call the EFV the mid life crisis 9030.
Point is OP compared it to Bradley, Marder etc. to portray EFV as lacking because it doesnt have ATGMs, while not comparing it to CV9030FIN, a cannon only IFV at the same BR.
Sure, EFV might float and CV not but not the point I was going for.
It is what it is, I don’t think it warrants an uptier and i don’t think it warrants a downtier the thing literally only became obtainable less than 12 hours ago and there are similar vehicles to it around it’s br bracket
Type 87 RCV
Type 89
CV9030
CV9035NL and DK
Bradleys
Begleit
etc, etc, etc
Despite it’s size and the extra “it floats” it performs no different to a lot of these vehicles be it with atgm or no atgm, so it’s just another addition to the 9.0 br light family.
i.e a no armor, moderately speedy, autocannon of which i have most of barring nations i haven’t started or have no experience with but that’s only 3.
EFV is pretty much on par with other 9.3 IFV APFSDS slingers.
Though they are all pretty mediocre if you ask me.
If their firerate was better, they would be more viable to be honest.
Late APDS does not shatter from my experience.
APDS also does more damage than APFSDS of the same calibre.
APFSDS does penetrate better than APDS at angles, and are less likely to ricochet at high angles though.
So while 35mm 200 RPM APDS is better against IFVs and a
light armour in general, 30mm 200 RPM APFSDS is better for side armour against MBTs ( since you are more likely to penetrate).
