We need a BR Review RIGHT NOW

i prefer current state of things when compared to release of Su-25/A-10.

Is it ideal, far from it.

But at least strike aircraft dont make their entire BR ranges miserable.

You can disagree with all the examples and whatever, but do you really disagree the main discussion that the BR system is broken?

Not broken, compressed.

And current air rb team deathmatch format does not support strike planes and bombers

Are you kidding? There are people who refuse to play 9.3-10.3 because of the A-10s, but hey, they don’t make entire BR ranges miserable

Insert all strike aircraft here.

The issue isn’t with the A-10C. It’s as low as it can go.

The issue is ARB is just not designed for anything that isnt meant to be in a furball. I’d suggest trying Air Sim until they add an RB EC gamemode. It’s very good in that

It was worse on launch, with even 9.0s facing them

To be fair, who even remembers the Tornado? The only good thing about it is the fact I do not have to grind it to get any decent planes. I cannot say the same about the Phantoms… those things are in the way.

Queue American mains crying about how it needs to be 10.0 because it can’t possibly defend itself, because you cannot flare bullets.

Half the reason to play Britain is to play the Tonkas. Just a shame they nerf them so much

Better in some aspects, because I believe that 9Ls being extremely poor at close range on launch. I remember dodging them in my Lim-5 quite easily.

It became an issue later on when that was fixed.

From what I recall using 9Ls on the Gr7 when It was added was that they were awesome. Harder to flare than what we have now and rarely missed.

But the A10 did come before the Gr7 so I don’t know what they were like prior

You’re hilarious. No, I would rather not use a Tornado. The only two reasons to get top tier Britain is Grippen and Typhoon. If Gaijin is foolish enough, maybe we will see a Rafale one day (for India)

Then don’t play Britain.

Tonka, Jag, harrier, Buc. That’s why you grind the British TT

“Broken” is a bad term. It’s too vague. Unless you have a specific replacement proposal it’s not helpful to just say something is “broken”. Now, addressing specific issues, such as compression or lack of parity between trees, is more helpful. Because by naming specific issues there can be work towards solutions.

Compression issue. 9.3-10.3 is 1.7 Brs worth of planes compressed into 1 BR bracket. It’s worse if you take into account that the Mig-15/F-86A-5 and their equals should be 8.7 in a decompressed state. With that, you would end up with the best F-86s/Mig-17s, and stuff at 9.7/10.0, and not 9.0.

Example

F-86A-5/Mig-15 - 8.7
Mig-15bis - 9.0
Mig-17 - 9.3
Mig-17PF/AS - 9.7
Shengyang F-5 - 10.0
Early supersonics/better transonics start at 10.3, not 9.3.

Gaijin hates bombers. The Tu-4 should be 7.3, and the B-29 should be 6.7 or even 6.3.

I don’t think the 11 is that much of an upgrade, especially since it’s just terrible against some 7.7s and most 8.0s.

Too late, already grinded Britain. Harrier is fun, but unfortunately it’s not as fun to play when the AIM 120s are afoot. Although it is fun to use when you’re brutally beating someone in a 1v1 and you say, “fine, I’ll be nice” and start beating them with a Harrier. I’ve never liked swept wings: F-14, MiG-23, etc.

I have been using the a10c to grind the event.

I drop my glide bombs then engage near by jets while i wait for my free 24 ground kills.

If there isnt any jet nearby, i fly to the convoys and strafe them. The only issue is the desync where the ground units go into the ground.

The a10c is pretty good at defending itself from most enemies.
