Was the Naval aim broken today?

Update 71 and not a peep about Naval fixes. So much fail…
Meanwhile gaijin staff is going away for the weekend and leaves us with this dumpster fire. Comrade, we rest, you grind with what we give you. I don’t think so.

I am encountering the same glitch and am frustrated!
All because they changed the combat system which didn’t need to be changed.
I demand that everything be restored!

1980s stuff, even Soviet ones, are reliable and long lasting. UAZ jeeps etc. This is none of it.

No something is seriously going wrong. There are times when my shells will fire properly and hit as aimed. Then their other times where say if an island is between me and the target even though I can still see the target fully and I aim at it put the cursor in the middle of the ship it’s short fires the guns. It shoots the island instead. I’ve also had my shells land behind the ship even though my cursor is pointing at the front of the ship. I’ve also had where I’ve changed targets and it continues to fire at the first Target i had targeted. I’ve also fired volleys at ships and they just never landed.

If somebody wants to take a look at what I’m talking about I’m going to post a session ID for a game I played today and of course the name is the same as here.

It doesn’t seem as bad with the coastal ships. But it’s completely terrible with the bigger ships. This really causes me an issue because I usually grind the battle pass with navel.

This has happened to me as well. What was really frustrating was I got shot by a ship that was behind an island and killed me from behind the island. The kicker here was I was behind another Island 7 miles away still killed me. I literally couldn’t have shot him if I wanted to and he shot me like the islands weren’t even there.

Yup, i just came here for the same thing. Enemy ships go dark red and untargetable and range is fixed to 7.21km. Even when they go bright red i still struggle to target even stuff 4-5km away

What an absolute mess Gaijin. You changed to an aiming system that nobody wanted and messed it up so bad that it hasnt worked properly since implementation, despite it having been weeks and you rolling out numerous ‘fixes’

Gaijin, time to admit defeat and admit you messed up and put the aiming system back the way it was.

‘Confirmed broken’, yes

‘Will be fixed’, im incredibly sceptical about. This will be ‘fix’ number 5 that hasn’t made a blind bit of difference. Does anyone in Gaijin actually test these ‘fixes’ with more that a 2 minute test drive?

OT: actually there seems to be a issue with the binocular zoom - sometimes it worked - mostly not.

If you scrolled with mouse wheel to zoom in or out, it locks in a “variable zoom” ‘mode’ (I can it that because otherwise it’s hard to describe these things in programming context)

Which means pressing right mouse button, “big zoom” won’t work anymore.

This bug is making Relastic easier than Arcade…

Nope, just played two games with heavy cruisers where rounds land short even with NOTHING between me and the target.

Yeah it is really bad with IJN Ikoma. In game aim looks steady, but in reply target lock is breaking every few seconds in player view and as soon as lock breaks the guns quickly change the aim point to what I guess is a “neutral” position.

I came back to playing naval after a while and the The firing system is broken. The shells pass through the ships, others pass very high and others remain very shorts.

In smaller caliber boats it is perceived less because reloading is fast, but in American 305 and 356 it is unplayable (I haven’t tried the German ones yet)

Noticed lots of overpenetrations too. Also, shell diving seems to have been nerfed.

But moreover, is the range penetration nerf for ships. Makes early battleships have extreme suffering as they already have.

Cause they change it but without mentioning, to make it more realistic
