If you’ve played this game long enough, you’ll remember certain features that are now lost to the community such as premium free BR’s. It wasn’t too long ago top tier was the last bastion of hope for high-skilled players to enjoy new vehicles and game innovating updates.
Today, I don’t see much hope for this game. Every ground and almost every air BR is plagued with premium players spamming incredibly cheap and tanks using obnoxious tactics. Remember back when all the vehicles very extremely expensive and 8.0 was a game of Leopard 1’s hiding behind walls for 10 or 20 min until someone drove past them? The severe lack of skill from premium players has reignited this age old tactic. Problematically now every premium player has access to the best SPAA in the game, removing the need for grinding tech trees. I open a match at maybe 10.7 or 12.0 and legitimately see 90% or more premium tanks.
Gaijin has poisoned that sht out of this game with greed and most tiers are unrecognizable. I’m very close to calling it quits for this game. I was addicted for years, but with experience comes the realization that there was a good thing that’s now gone. I get it gaijin wants to make money but this isn’t playable anymore, just a playground for kids with premiums who leave after 1 or 2 deaths.
