War Thunder "Tusk Force" - Changelog

If you spam 16 Iris t slm missiles at it, can the Mi28 still deflect all of them at the same time?

I assume so. They have stated they are looking into a way of limiting LDIRCM to only affect so many missiles at a time (depending on the system) but its not implemented currently

Yes instead of you know fixing it they added more helicopters than can benefit from it.

The damage model is simply divine!
A tank with a broken breech fires at you, or a crowbar simply hits a piece of cardboard. This game is simply amazing.

Quick little note on the new gun sounds. A couple of the new gun sounds are pretty good, like the M2HB. However, the M2 sharing the same noise as the DShK is absolutely ridiculous. They don’t sound even remotely the same. I can tell you without a doubt, that a lot more development time went towards Russian low caliber gun sounds. I have found that they are the only good sounding ones consistently. Everything that’s not Russian, sounds weak, cheap, and a lot of the noises are just recycled across all the different calibers, it’s kind of ridiculous, and blatantly obvious.

is it tho?

.50 Browning is a half inch shell, half in inch in 21st century measurements is 12.7mm, which the DShK shell diameter too.

they are going to sound very similar per shot inherantly

the only thing you hear ontop while the dshk is firing are the chain links

as you could have seen in the videos i sent where the audio wasnt recorded with a toster

They sound almost the same, except for where they don’t. It’s a pretty noticeable difference.

Not gonna even touch that reasoning with a stick.

then watch the videos

and hear for yourself
instead of sending a youtube short comparing a recording that was made with a toaster to one that was made with a phone

I don’t think you understand what I’m trying to say, so I’ll say it again. There is a clear difference between the 2 shooting, not necessarily the gun itself shooting, but just the general noise made by them shooting, if that makes sense.

No it dosent because the echo is highly dependent on the environment and that even includes the weather

Theres a clear difference between a teaspoon and a coffee spoon, still a spoon

I posted a pic in the lmur thread of a loadout with 4 kh39 (2 double racks). It’s not unfeasable that it can carry it on its 2 inner pylons

Because nothing I say seems to click, I will move on with: Make gun sounds have more intricate details. What they did with the large caliber guns was great, they just needed to redo that with the small caliber guns, which they did for quite a few, but not all.

Honestly the LMUR is not even that bad if you compair it to the Chinses FnF missile. It has a longer range and there are 16 of them. The LMUR might just seem like a bigger issure becuase there are more Russian helis than Chinese ones.

What is this, the Agincourt?

“I’m sorry sir, but we can’t see where our primaries are landing! Cease fire on all other cannons!”

The difference is the LMUR actually kills what it hits.

I’ll take 8 missiles that are 1 shot 1 kill over 16 that get “hit”
