So much text to refute nothing. The game is DISAGRADABLE without spending money. It is a fact.
Since they touched the economy because they were FORCED less but the progress in TT is pitiful.
That you are comfortable with the game, great.

3 months on free to play 2 hours of battles a day to get all of top BR ground.
Yeah, it’s slow.
You can still finish 2 tech trees air and ground a year though.
More if you find the good tactics of earning rewards.
Sweden took me a year with premium and a thousand hours experience
German Air took me 3 without either
ofc if you’re starting with Level 100 experience it’ll be faster, by now I’d probably also be able to do a full Air tree in a few months
It took me 3 months on my first try with Japan in 2019. Granted I did play 2 hours of battles a day, and I had experience in shooters which helped me with ground.
Today if I started again I could complete Japan in a shorter amount of time, especially since a 7.3 lineup exists for it today.
Most of the people who describe themselves as amazing pilots/tank commanders, hilariously are not 😂
I remember a dude that claimed Russia was better than everyone else and their stats with Soviet tanks was identical to everyone else; with their Jagdpanzer IV being the only tank that was above and beyond in stats cause that’s actually OP.
Stats will expose nonsense claims.
The third option is me: i’ll tell i play arcade and i’m gonna tweak while talking about how that mode is infested by either bots/hackers or by elitist on low-tiers that literally hoard the masses and create an impenetrable wall to the low levels that simply want to enjoy the game
so all those premium vehicles and that premium account you own doesn’t give you an advantage on progression?
What premiums? The ones I purchased after completing tech trees you mean. Or barely used.
This was explained to you already with evidence.
Then again, your posts have insults and accusations against players that cite sources.
nope, all of that disproved with the LENGTHY math i provided to show that its literally impossible to progress through many of your tech trees without the matches played (and RP gained) on your premium vehicles.
i have seen NO evidence from you on this, only statements and claims. please link me this evidence.
insults? where?
sources? where?
Premium vehicles do give bonuses, but it still requires player performance to actually make anything of it. Buying the F-4S or the F-20 won’t give you an advantage over any other vehicle of comparable performance/BR.
Everything you can accomplish with a premium vehicle you can achieve with a TT one - just takes longer. It’s a bit of a stretch to call that P2W.
i didn’t say they would.
i didn’t.
He claimed no advantage, i said advantage in progression.
Well of course you can pay money to help progress, it is a F2P game after all - what he said is still correct in that he never paid to gain an advantage over another player unfairly.
Whether you genuinely misinterpreted the dude’s comment or are trying to make a point about Gaijin making the grind hell to force you to spend either money or your happiness, I am not sure.
Entitlement usually leads to toxicity if it isn’t fulfilled.
And there is lots of entitlement in this f2p game.
Entitelment ends when stats are posted ;)
It’s off topic, and you should take it to the other topic.
His corrected math, which was based on my math correcting him, also proved I barely used premiums.
Lol, let them, I ain’t got nothing to hide.
There are some who think that K/D is the end-all be-all for performance. It seems that these also are the same people who want aircraft removed. My suspicion is they see War Thunder as a wacky tank hero-based shooter (tank Valorant lmao) instead of the combined-arms simulator that it is. So of course to them only kills matter, and not the more nuanced aspects of strategic team play, and of course the “overpowered class” of CAS needs removed because every two vehicles should be balanced in a 1v1 (so esports ready lol) and a tank vs aircraft isn’t. Completely forget about the whole SP balancing mechanic that ensures that the overall impact of an aircraft on a battle is equivalent to the significant amount of ground vehicles one could have spawned with the same SP.
For people confused on what I mean, think of it like an RTS. War Thunder is a tactical game and many principles apply. Spawning in an aircraft is like training some elite tank unit in the RTS, while spawning in a tank is like purchasing a more austere infantry unit. Of course the tank (CAS) is going to be more powerful. But it’s also more expensive, and your team can afford to spawn a lot more infantry (tanks) for the cost of the enemy’s tank (CAS). In order for the tank to pay off the investment to spawn it, it must kill many infantry. Otherwise, it’s a negative investment and the team as a whole took a loss on it even if pure K/D is positive.
Back on the topic of my stats, these people would see my subpar K/D of 1.04 and claim I’m bad at GRB, ignoring my 60% win rate and 64% placement on the team (honestly surprised that’s not higher, must be from all the times I was using locusts at top tier a few months ago lol).
Compare that to ULQ, who has a genuinely impressive K/D. However, he has only a 58% win rate and a 57% placement on the team, showing how despite his K/D he isn’t actually as effective in combat or influential in battle. No hate to him, he just has a more passive playstyle that emphasizes getting kills over winning matches or team play, and he’s pretty dam good at it.
And I’m not ashamed of of my K/D. I play aggressive, brash even, and love taking on the enemy head-on rather than hiding and camping to boost K/D. I push objectives even when the odds are against me, and prioritize assisting teammates over getting kills for myself. It’s simply more fun to play for fun rather than performance.
On top of that, I frequently use historical lineups because I’m a history nerd. This puts me at a disadvantage running something like an ASU-85 or 2S1 at 9.3, but it’s totally worth it until Gaijin finally adds a historical mode where doing so isn’t a disadvantage.
Finally, I’ve introduced a few friends to the game. When playing with them, as the good friend I am, I set them up for kills (so they can progress faster) instead of taking it for myself.
Not that any of that even matters. In the end, I almost never die to CAS. All the people whining presumably do quite often. So I’m doing at least something right. So sharing my knowledge and experience with those less skilled at avoiding CAS, even if those people are better at other aspects of the game than me (and of course they are, everyone has different talents) is still totally valid.
No, it doesn’t end then. Entitlement cannot be easily cured.
At least it is exposed then.
Ye, didn’t need to hear more to know that You really don’t get what You are talking about.
If You die faster to a tank that CAS can arrive or You are just not a valid target for it, of course You are not going to die to it often.
You don’t need stats to expose entitlement. Entitlement is usually DISPLAYED.
