War Thunder is a Toxic Game

Players: *Insert rant post here about everything.

It’s toxic by the fact it’s a multiplayer game. Those types are a breading ground for toxicity.

I like how they thought Air RB wasn’t a “toy game”.
(If true ofc )

dont be sad kids, continue pay to kill, really don´t care what players said (or mods behind players acocunts)

Literally never paid to kill in War Thunder.
I just got good.
There’s no such thing as “account nerfing”, that’s pure disinformation.

I literally don’t play to grind at all
Idgaf anymore
I’m talking about the pervasive mentality that’s taken over as things have progressively gotten slower and less rewarding over the years.

Only western tankers
We’ve seen how tankers perform in Ukraine and its like the bad teammates you don’t want

Again, it’s a mindset thing.

Yep, that’s what I just said
And like was said just above its night and day AB vs RB
Its incredible

Please explain your argument better, and why you think that way.

This game is not rigged. You get no advantage by buying stuff (except crew skills) and what you mentioned are just bugs or a skill issue.

Ive only met two kinds of arcade players - those who geinunely play for fun and you dont even know they play arcade unless you ask, and those who will let you know that they play arcade and while they are at it they will also let you know its way better mode than realistic and as a final touch they will tell you how arcade players lack the snobish elitism of realistic players (you know, completly oblivious).

Me constantly practice toxic playstyle and encourage everybody to do the same.

Players are upset that the gameplay is toxic.

Me make a surprise pikachu face when I find players upset about the gameplay being toxic.

Are you seriously implying that I just use CAS to shit on players all the time like I’m a constant asshole, not just because I’m playing the damn game like it’s supposed to be, because that, is top notch sepsis right there…

You also didn’t answer me on that other thread about why you think the worst of me considering there’s a few people making out I’m a certain type of person, merely to make it easier to dismiss the actual point of conversations, steering the conversation down abusive and ignorant paths, based on elitism and pure ignorance.

Very tired of being the bad guy here for merely discussing and actually looking for engagement rather than this whinge and moan about the game we find everywhere.

Yes…pretty much… Practicing toxic playstyles and encouraging others to do the same just ain’t it. I legit saved a Nashorn from CAS this game, Typhoon was trying to strafe me, but then he saw the Nashorn, switched targets and tried to shoot him. Shot em down with a basic .50 cal saving his open top tank from CAS. He finished strong with some 6 kills and 1 death and thanked me for it while I stayed near him to protect him from another CAS plane. I could of been a jerk and let him die from it by ignoring planes and only want to search and kill tanks, but I’m not a toxic player. If someone isn’t having fun, they need a break from WT instead of being toxic and encouraging others to be toxic too. Simple as is.

Depend on how you look at it, there are many ways you can save your team including not through the means of using SPAA or CAS, I’ll use ULQ as an example, a guy who does most of the killings and rarely dies so expect him to prevent teammates from getting killed by other tanks, also enemy is less likely to spawn a CAS with good loadout since he rarely ever feeds the enemy team enough sp to spawn a CAS, everything has an expense, when you are playing SPAA then you wouldn’t be as helpful when your teammates need help in getting rid of an enemy mbt. Like two days ago in one of the matches I had 5 teammates left, I was the only one in a heavy tank while one of them in a BMP-2 and the rest was SPAAs, we got steamrolled at spawn and completely helpless, no way we can shoot our way out, I could if we have at least three mbts because I managed to kill three and didn’t die, and we stuck at spawn until the timer runs out bro.

Partially wrong, there are a range of armor thickness for each round (and distance) where its probabilistic (where the aim gets yellow in AB and protection analysis).

not true at top tier where CAS has thermals, its almost impossible to not be seen. even harder to then not get short at (depending on if the map has buildings to hide behind or not). if you cant hide then you have a VERY high likelihood of getting hit, and not getting penned and not dying you cant control as a player.

RB and SDB they very much help with hiding at lower tiers where you don’t have thermals. you can break up you silhouette very effectively. BUT they do NOT work for hiding in large open maps without foliage.

What you are describing are all VERY situational points. you cant generalize the way you do here.

Fair, happens when team ODL or gets steamrolled into oblivion which are the consequences of bad decision making. In most cases, it’s GG, some other cases can turn the table. I gotten steamrolled before as well, nothing new. Those who spawned on SPAA probably all they had left to use. 3 SPAA and 2 tanks to me is bad choice to make. I would of used another tank instead of SPAA if I saw too many SPAA. And yes, getting kills and not dying will decrease the chances of CAS being used, but doesn’t always. But yea, still doesn’t explain to be toxic and encouraging others to partake in toxic playstyle. If you want to leave a match after a first death because you got frustrated and want to avoid the coming chaos, then you do it. Don’t encourage the negativity to others is all I’m saying.

I never played with AB tryhards, i know squadrons exist that try to be elite ab players, but i never met one playing there.

Also my experience is limited to air players.

What you regularly see is RB players with the “at least i don’t play arcade” attitude.

Already posted that ;)
