War Thunder is a Toxic Game

Sure. ^^ You just play it to make sure it is bad.

But you don’t. Who told you that? What are you trying to get from the pass? The title? The tank?

I can’t say that. I found them very smooth the last two passes. Before, I often skipped a few because I found them too time consuming, but on this pass?

Again, not my experience. But I learned to do the tasks in the mode where they are easiest for me or suit my plans. And that is NOT tanks. And yes, I rarely accept win tasks. That is when I usually reroll.

I am on a free battlepass right now. No credit card used. Even the pass was free. It will carry me to 149. I am considering to pop 3 chests for warbonds to get the title at 150 too. I know, that is just idle.

WarThunder is a great way to test your tendency towards addictive behaviour and the extent to which you are able to take responsibility for your decisions.
In short … At the end of the day, there’s no “slug” employee sitting behind you with a gun to your head forcing you to do something.
Yes, there are mechanics that require you to exercise absolute self-control to resist them. Many don’t realise where their responsibility begins and often tend to look for the mistakes on the outside. In the end, it’s a simple decision that leads them to FOMO hell.

To me, Battle Pass challenges are not even hard to do nor the daily tasks/special tasks. Most of the time it takes me a few matches to complete it. If you need help doing tasks/challenges that require you to win matches, squad up with someone that can help you with that. I don’t mind helping you if you need help too.

My recent games.

You can’t “TL;DR” and then go back to complaining about points I literally just covered… maybe try reading my post again.

Coupons are basically the worst form of not managing your time well in WT. You are literally spending far more hours than to simply unlock the vehicle in order to… not keep it? In the hopes that someone else will pay you for all that time you spent?

Trying to get coupons and playing the market is the definition of turning a game into a job, and it’s an awful, horrendous use of your time. I really cannot overemphasize how much it doesn’t make sense to spend that much time to maybe make a small amount of non-money… while also complaining that using the buy-levels-with-GE feature isn’t worth it, and similar.

You’re creating your own problems here.

You might as well used a slur here, according to some people.

How else should people get their precious premiums if not by…lovering their hourly wage by significant margin?

You know this battlepass is designed like literally every other standard battlepass, right? I already got ny level 75 reward a couple of weeks ago just by doing special tasks while I’m playing casually. I see one task end, I start another one. I completed about half of the challanges for the season as well but I didn’t go out of my way to do a single one. Like others have said on here, if you’re going for the coupons then that’s you choosing to turn the game into a job at that point. That’s on you. If it’s for the title then I don’t know what to tell you except I guess you really feel like you need it lmao. It sounds like you just don’t like the idea of a battlepass to begin with so I’ll let you in on a secret… You can progress just fine without touching the battlepass (shocking, I know)

I am glad you agree with me that completing battlepass is awful and a waste of time. That’s what I was saying.

If you’re not interested in good faith discussions, nor in actually taking advice for your problems, don’t bother making threads. Because this merely makes them rant/vent/scream-into-the-void posts (aka worthless) instead of an actual exchange of ideas or an opportunity to learn new things or consider alternate perspectives (aka an actual discussion).

Well, better work on your reading skills then.

There has clearly been a breakdown in communication if you think I made this thread because I wanted personal advice.

If you think threads or posters complaining about bad game features are worthless, you have the choice not to engage with them. You are not entitled to “alter” said thing. You have the control over the finite resource of your time so if you disagree with the point of the thread then invest your time and emotions into things that you can actually change and affect, and you’ll find yourself much happier.

Level 75, getting all the vehicles.

Congratulations you just discovered the core of the game alright

Arcade being the fun mode is entirely subject to opinion, personally I get a lot more fun out of a 5 kill RB match over a 18 kill one in arcade. And yes, there are braindead people that think X country should be basically invincible at whatever BR range. But the main complaints I see in air are either balance problems, want to see the game mode itself change (smaller player count, map size, number of spawn points and respawns are all examples) or the gigabrain decisions Gajiin makes occasionally like the F15 being a better fighter while the Su 27 is better at bvr. Arcade definitely has its own problems and the one that comes to mind easily is spawn camping.

AB players are very pretentious from what I’ve seen. I’ve collected a insane amount salt and hard targeting in the J8F compared to what I get in realistic. More often than not I spend half my matches with 1 or 2 people chasing me relentlessly while I kill half of their team and seem to have a target painted on my back in high tier now lol. They seem to dedicate the energy towards other players from what I’ve seen. It also supports my theory that there are a lot less players in higher BRs in arcade. I have never met someone enough to remember them across multiple games and vice versa while I’ll get 2, 3, 4 games in a row with the same 3 or 4 guys.

Bwahahahahaha

AB is AB, thats 'bout all I can say.
Imo both RB and AB have their issues with pretentiousness and entitlement, (God knows I have seen toxic AB players, and unfortunately have been one myself), but I generally see more RB players like that.

(My personal opinion is just play whatever you find fun, its a game after all)
