God no I wouldn’t take VIDAR over T95E1, that has an amazing round, armor, good turret…
VIDAR can’t compete with T95E1’s lolpen capability.
Tldr move it up to 8.7 and everyone is happy

Move it to 8.7, see how well it is doing, and change it if it needs to be changed.

Agreed. From what I have heard it would do fine there, and sweden has room to move both up and down from there if needed (8.0 and 9.3).
90mm steel constructed APFSDS hardly counts as an amazing round, especially saddled with the much longer than average reload and lack of stabilizer. Most 8.3 and some 8.0s have better rounds, while also having faster reloads and even full stabilizers on some.
It has enough armor to bounce poorly aimed shots, but anything even remotely aimed well will get through. Even M82 shot can pen the turret cheeks at close range. HEAT mostly just lolpens it.
Sure do love a turret with not one but two flat weakspots that get exposed before the gun does when hulldown, meaning even the weakest APHE you can see in a downtier can kill you easily before you can even get the gun on target.
It’s got good gun handling, and has good gun depression angles. That’s about all the positives I can give the turret.

Considering it’s a well regarded premium, and a somewhat non-meta vehicle, those are pretty damn good stats. Especially in arcade, which I didn’t expect.

Oh damn, thats… bonkers in AB. Probably comes down to good zoom and the LRF, though I suspect it isnt as stupid as the stats may show.
Most people that play it in AB will probably be actually competent tbh.

T-55A and Chieftain have significantly worse rounds than T95E1, T-55A’s round is worse than Chieftain’s too.
Thunderskill is anecdotal, and doesn’t prove your claims.
You have to compare VIDAR stats to other tank stats within the same player profile.
If it’s OP, like Jagdpanzer, the KDR will be significantly higher than its compatriots on a profile.
The Chieftain’s round is borderline identical at close range, and far better at long range. Not to mention a much higher caliber and over twice the weight, meaning it does more damage on penetration and has a shorter reload despite that.
It does indeed outperform 3BM25, the second worst high caliber APFSDS round in the game. Woo.
Meanwhile, it’s up at it’s own tier it’s up against DM23 (M48A2C G2), M111 (Oliphant Mk1, Magach 5 at 8.0), Type 83 (ZTZ59D1) and OFL 105 F3 (AMX-10RC), all of which outperform it in penetration and damage, all of which outreload it, and half of which are stabilized.
And it’s not even that good compared to the rounds it beats, I’d take almost any APDS round at the tier over it due to the faster reload.

Absolutely bro, I mean if you have the IS-6 then you wouldn’t want it to end up at 7.7, it literally get smacked harder than Tiger 2 facing 7.7s, I mean it currently fights things like M48 and T-55M with DM23 which is a viable ammunition at 9.3, the buyers must have felt like a sucker I bet, you know what? everybody is a communist when they are poor.
I mean
IS6 is a great counter for vidar - it bounces my HE with no DMG, i’ve found only small area of LFP that can eat vidar HE reliably. In battle it is always a hard enemy.
BUT you don’t see me creating 2137 different topics with whines to nerf is6.
