If CAS was balanced, then it would be equally hard to do both things.

no that would be if CAS and ground would be equally balanced

CAS alone is balanced imo, rank doesn’t really matter to a degree, load is limited unless you take a strategic bomber but then you’re an easy target for anything with HE

fighters cost less SP so if you got no capable SPAA in your tree at that rank you can always just intercept the other side as heavily loaded multiroles, strikers and bombers in ground RB are usually easy targets

may I quote the German armed forces: Luftverteidigung ist aufgabe der Luftwaffe (Air defence is the task of the Air force)

edit: imo at higer ranks AAMs such as R-27 and Sidewinders should cost no SP

I will ask the question again, which is easier:

  1. Spawning 5.7 vechicle in 6.7 game and fighting 6.7 vechicle head on
  2. Spawning reserve tank in 6.7 game and bombing 6.7 vechicle (after spawning a plane which You acquired with a single cap).

I admitted twice that ground to ground combat is imbalanced and I do not question that

just because one type of gameplay is horribly imbalanced doesn’t mean that you should now imbalance the other gameplay too

or are you just fuming over not being immortal as a higher BR tank?

Now that is a hot take I could stand behind. A2A loadouts should be completely free. I cringe every time I see 192SP cost on my air belts on Mig-29.

The hottake was from other person to begin with.

No cannon ammo, free Missiles and CMs but then at a much cheaper Spawn cost

No SPAA problem is worked around

No it was not, that round was for the s.F.H. 18 L/30, the s.I.G. 33 and StuH 42 L/12 are just way too weak and short barrled to have an even remotely effective velocity with it, IF it would even have been for it.

Long range maps are good, cannon barrels should get collisions, and always viewing from gunners sight position.

It takes the fun out of killing German WWII aircraft not having them

And for my own hottake: Palestinian tech tree:

.7 BR spread will not magically turn bad players into good players.

I don’t think anyone has ever suggested it would.
Would be much nicer only having to fight vehicles .7 higher than you, rather than 1.0 higher.
