Presently the F-14B doesn’t use its EO tracker as part of its STT automation. As such isn’t subject to the fix requested.
The fix for the aircraft mentioned in this report is only to resolve the automation rapidly changing between radar and IR/EO while in STT. It isn’t to grant full launch capabilities in those modes and doesn’t allow for it when manually switching to IR/EO modes.
Because it wasn’t modeled properly in the first place, so effectively Catch 22’s an earlier report on the issue that is nearly two years old at this point.
Gaijin practically has to be actively searching the reports submitted as a suggestion, in order to perform Soft balancing of vehicles where they can.
It’s certainly not any form of “First In First out” queue, and Triage doesn’t otherwise seem to follow any observable patterns.
Well in the case of the Maverick, it does need the correct monitor as well.
Su-30 and Su-34 have thermal imaging visual displays, both have the ability to receive thermal imaging signals, and the Su-34 has explicit pictures of the 38MT while having a “worse” solution.
In Viggen’s case the monitor was only ever meant to be used with the TV guided Mavericks, so that’s what the Viggens will always be limited to.
I don’t speak Russian and I don’t have access to the same search engines Europe does because USA are dicks so I need to VPN to just look at United Aircraft Corporation’s website, but that’s off-topic.
Not all of them, The later digital variants (IIR & CCD seekers) require the use of the -A/A rail variant(s) for some of the additional features, like sensor to seeker LoS track handoff and Boresight remembering functions.
Not really, due to the way the rails work conversion Video / Sensor I/O encapsulation and data transfer ,is handled by electronics present in adapter to interface with the relevant electronics bus, anything that meets MIL-STD-1553 or ARINC-818 (or earlier versions of the standards), also it is known that the video outputs are backwards compatible by design, so all it’s doing is encapsulating the additional data that it needs in the otherwise dead air (e.g. during return line spacing) that is otherwise discarded / unsuited for use by earlier analog systems due to the way the signal is processed by the display, not too dissimilar in intent to the way Closed-captions are promulgated alongside TV signals.
Since all the Mi-24Ds and the A variant have lost the ability to guide dumb fire rockets (s-24s, s-150ks) will they go down in br? They are equal to or very ever so slightly better than the Mi-4AV now. (Suffice to say all helicopters in the lower brs, other than the Alouette are pretty much a dumpster fire)
Any response or update guys? I am feeling compelled to open a duplicate ticket at this point because this is a bug that still exists in game. I’m sure the staff on the bug reporting site do not like duplicate tickets, right? This is why I strongly recommend that they stop immediately closing tickets before any of us have a chance to dispute the label “not a bug” or an incorrect assumption by the bug reporting managers.
There is a mini revolt brewing among the Naval player community, and incorrectly closing down our reports is not helping the issue. (And blocking any further comments and/or editing of the original report.)
I cannot reopen my ticket, cannot leave a new comment, and cannot even edit my original report. Completely silencing me incorrectly. What other choice do I have at this point but open a new bug report and spam up the bug reporting site with duplicate reports? Completely silencing us is unacceptable. (Deleting off topic replies, or locking down a bug report if the poster becomes rude/offensive or otherwise posts non constructive information is perfectly understandable and acceptable. But I only posted verifiable information, and was not rude or negative in any way.)
I posted pics of the turret baskets. Do you actually see hydraulic hoses or pump modules or whatever? The basket is almost empty, except for electric cables, the protective meshes, the seats etc. A hydraulic driven turret would look like on the M1 photo. An electric turret drive is an electric turret drive…
please… put the “sight” of the boats back as it was before… this new sight, made everything so “automated” and boring in battles with ships… :/ JUST put the sight on top of the boat, and shoot, while the “computer” does everything for us… IT’S NOT FUNNY AT ALL!..
yes… this new “Automatic aim” is as “fun” as those “casino” games, where you just have to click the button to spin the “fruits” :(
“shooting a boat” from several kilometers away, without having to do anything (because the computer does EVERYTHING for us) and we don’t even need to see the ship, just point the aim at the indication "IT’S NOT FUNNY AT ALL!..
or not even having left behind an island, right at the start, and already some big ship has destroyed our little boat, with a powerful salvo…
or the “plane” that manages to be hit by a shot coming from who knows where, about 10 kilometers away…even with “vintage tech”… BORING
I hope they change, at least the naval battles, to how they used to be…
(or create a “children’s” mode where this type of fully automated settings can exist for those who just like to “click and shoot” without doing anything else…)
