Then it should be I band. USSR Airforce stopped using J-band radars for their aircraft with MiG-29 and Su-27 introduction.

The 9b-1101k is the seeker for the r27r

As i said, then it can’t operate on J band, because radars of MiG-29 and Su-27 operate on I band.

its still not the 27(E)P seeker

It does, the Proximity fuze on the r27 is located on the warhead module, you can see the rectangular radomes panels before the control fins

Hey, I along with some other people noticed that R-27ER now can miss the simplest shots (target going HOT, not maneuvering, high closure rate). If any of you spot a similar problem, take a look at this bug report

I’ve had this same issue with r-27er on 27sm. Misses easy shots for some reason, maybe proxy doesn’t work or something

Had fuse fail on a breadth of missiles. Would not be surprised if something broke.
