only the soviet 11.7 premium is comparable to the type90. there you trade armor and 3rd gen thermals (and a bit more pen)for speed, and depression
It was indeedly good at 11.3, that’s sadly another vehicle that was moved up, it has worser armor then Type 90 but with a bigger rack of ammo to sling
Real-life rounds are tested at 60 degrees, not flat plates.
DTC-10 from 2000 meters away pens 618mm of armor at 60 degrees against a 309mm thick RHA steel plate @TheDidact99
If 618mm of penetration from 2000 meters away is wrong, no one has proved it.
Real life documents will use 60 degree pen as well.
VT-5 had almost all of its armor corrected by the time it released, fires the 2nd best 105mm round in the game, and is a lower BR than the AGS. :)
HQ-17 is a lower BR than other SPAA.
China being powerful is why I’m grinding for it. In-fact 10.3 China is the most OP 10.3 lineup in the game, and I am utilizing that fact.
it only had like 400mm of armor at its best spots so its pretty easy to pen at 10.3.
True, but again great speed and 4 seconds reload and knowing where to aim negates every advantage of wathever other tank…3rd gen thermals even…

VT5 almost fixed? Bro…gaijin refused developer files where it states it can resist 100mm APCBC of the T55’s, it can barely resist a .50cal HMG
